There have been reports of pleasure garden attacks. Multiple such establishments, owned by Kruul, have been destroyed.

The loss of life is counted in the thousands. Each of those attacks saw a near complete loss of life. There was only one survivor at each establishment.

So far only women have been rescued. All off them have suffered severe psychological trauma, and most were unable to comment on events. One of the survivors said her assailant had told her that the attack was a "rescue mission" for her.

It seems unlikely that these attacks were anything other than malicious attacks. The staggering disregard for human life, and the vicious annihilation of security forces prove that. Experts think that the claim that these attacks are a "rescue mission", are likely the foundation for future propaganda.

A multi faction team of scientists have concluded a study of the way space behaves in New Eden. It has been observed that even though it might look the same as our historical data from the Milky way, it does not behave the same. New Eden space seems to have friction, and colliding objects are unable to collide; they bounce off each other.

Many trillions of Isk have been invested into this research, and most of our greatest minds have been recruited to solve this puzzle. The research has been a great strain, and we have received reports that many of the researchers have experienced mental instability.

This might explain the research paper that was the result of the study. It was only one paragraph, and it reads as follows:
"Ships hang in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't. So long, and thanks for all the fish."

Been reading this thread and it seems like this might be a good fit. I've tried Eve a couple of times over the years and have always liked it, but have become overwhelmed with the complexity. It's clear that this game requires a degree of commitment AND the support of more experienced players. I'd be interested in seeing if I might be a good addition to your corp. I'm VERY green, having just finished the career tutorials. Playing gallente in an algos but am open to starting over in a more directed way.

Sounds good Terrapax. Please drop by our in game recruiting channel at "SG-Recruiting". There is someone from recruiting online during the day but mostly in the evenings. SG welcomes new players and there is always someone to help and give direction. We are a laid back Corp that always has something going on. We understand the real life comes first.

Our focus is to find good people that are a good fit for SG. High ISK, skill points or experience are not a requirement. We can help you get those.

That is odd, there is usually someone in there that can help out.

I will be on in about three hours (~20:00 EVE), and I can answer any questions you might have.

Adventure seeker on an empty street,
Just an alley creeper, light on his feet
A young fighter screaming, with no time for doubt
With the pain and anger can't see a way out,
It ain't much I'm asking, I heard him say,
Gotta find me a future move out of my way,
I want it all, I want it all, I want it all, and I want it now,
I want it all, I want it all, I want it all, and I want it now,,,

wait, I have not actually decided on all of what I want. I will get back to you when I do know.

I want it all, I want it all, I want it all, and I want it sometime in the near future,

Does self destructing your pod really count as suicide? You don't just die, you wake up in a new clone.

Food for thought.

** Breaking the fourth wall ** Of course it does not. The "characters" we play live in a computer database and are not actually alive, but the question is still valid if we were ever to develop this technology in real life.

After using a massive amount of super-glue, I am almost done with assembling the fourth wall back together.

CCP sent me an angry letter regarding my blatant disregard for their most precious wall. It reads as follows:

"I knew it. When I heard that someone had just smashed the mighty T3 wall of enlightenment, I knew it was you. I do not care how you managed to break the wall, but you are going to fix it!"

Soon the all mighty wall will be back up again, I promise.

Help!!

I somehow managed to glue my tongue to the T3 wall of enlightenment, a.k.a. "The Fourth Wall". Do not ask me how, please.

How do I separate the wall from my tongue without leaving a significant portion of my tongue on the wall? My current plan is to clone jump, and then biomass this clone. I would rather that that be a last resort though.

Howdy folks, I'm wondering if there could be any room for a dedicated salvager pilot between you ranks? Tried starting my business as a salvager but with little success Sad

p.s. Merry Christmas Smile

There are opportunities for salvage work, yes.

I would however not recommend that you dedicate your career exclusively to salvaging. That business is very specialized, and dependent on others. It is usually something that players can do in addition to their preferred profession.

Drop by our recruitment channel, SG-Recruiting, and chat with our recruiters. SG could be a good fit for you.

Also, Merry Christmas everyone!
