Faction Standing Repair Options

Greetings all

I have -6.60 standings with Amarr Empire, and -5.17 standings with Caldari State.

I have Diplomacy trained to IV, currently training to V.

I have been running level 1 missions in Gallente space for the Amarrian corporations to get storylines and increase faction standings with the Amarr Empire, this has been improving Caldari State as a side effect.

I cannot enter any high sec Amarr or Caldari space.

Is there a faster way to gain these faction standings without entering their space? Are there people that offer to fleet with you and boost your faction standings for a fee?

I have seen the "plan" guide for repairing the standings, but that is extremely slow with my current situation, being negative to both empires on the same "side". I have to run 16 level 1 missions to get a storyline which then gives me 0.08 faction standing with Amarr Empire and about 0.05 with Caldari Sate. At that rate, the estimated amout of missions I would have to run to restore Amarr Empire to better than -5.0 is 272 level 1 missions.

Any suggestions?

You could find someone to run higher level missions with...

This thread should actually be posted in Missions and Complexes. It took time to damage your standings and it'll take a bit of time to repair them. Since I'm on the topic, I'll set you in the right direction.

Faction standings are not shared. Only Agent and Corporation standing is shared.

Players have repaired negative Faction standings very quickly due to working the 'Faction Standing Repair Plan'.

Also if you had any questions pertaining to the 'Plan', you could have posted them in this thread or even contacted me in-game via Eve Mail.

Training up Diplomacy is the correct first step. Don't Forget Negotiation and Social.

Maybe you did infact read the 'Plan', but you're working for the wrong Faction. Instead of Amarr, you should be working for Caldari due to having higher Faction standings with them being closer to -5.00.

After you get Caldari above -5.00 Faction standing, you can enter their space and start working the Event Agents listed in the 'Plan'.

When Amarr get's above -5.00 Faction standing, you can enter their space and work the Event Agents listed in the 'Plan'.

Or you can re-read the 'Plan' again and follow the directions outlined in it.

I must have missed that part xD

I actually acquired this toon by trading my old toon for it, didn't realise the standings were messed up until after I had it. My primary income source is incursions and they primarily seem to spawn in Amarrian space so not being able to travel there is a major hindrance =)

I will begin to run for the Caldari and take another look at the "plan", I must have misread it.

^^ This ... very much.

I started grinding lvl1s to try rehabilitate amarr's dislike of me. Then I discovered the plan and achieved more standings improvement in a session than I had in the previous week. It's by far the best way to go.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Working on level 1 Caldari missions in Gallente space until I can get Caldari to above -5.0. Shouldn't take too long, then I'll begin the plan =)

Fleet with someone who can do amarr/caldari lvl 4s and it will go up much quicker.

There's one way where you can share faction standing gains with someone else - it's through the Faction Warfare.

You get FW promotion for completing enough missions. The missions can be started by someone else, and the rewards shared as in normal missions, as those are not storylines.

The other way is once you get into FW is to run a couple complexes, for which you can get the promotion as well.

The only problem with this is getting into FW in the first place with your horrible standings, but I've seen couple ads in the Sell orders for corps doing just that.

Redo the sisters of eve epic arc , you probably have the skills to blitz it relative fast with a destroyer, iand pick the amarr or caldari agent at the end of the arc it will give you a good factionstanding bonus so atleast one of them will drop under the -5.0

Second stop doing missions against other factions except for the lp reward i don't think they are really worth it

the xircle agents also give a quick small boost and can be done relative fast

All the rest is relative slow i know i ve been there myself , but you can recover over time just need dedication and some time with the recovery plan , , one of the most useful guides in EVE
