value of blood medium pulse laser battery

I recently came across a bpc for the blood medium pulse laser battery. I got pretty excited after checking for contracts and seeing that they are going for about 30mil. Then I looked up the actual module on the market only to find that are no buy orders and that the sell orders are median 20mil.

So, are these mods just worthless? Does everyone just by the bpc then construct it where they need it? Am I missing something?

Well, the ones up on contract are 3-run BPC. Going by Jita sell prices, it will cost you a little less than 14 million in materials to build 3 plus the BPC cost.

So, 14+30 == 44 Million cost to build 3. And that estimate is a bit high. You could build the medium pulse laser yourself instead of buying it off the market for example. Also, there' a BPC up now selling for 18M in Amarr.

Anyway, even so if you can sell them at 20M each you'll make money building them.

I'll also add, that it looks like the volume on these is very thin and there are 7 for sale in Jita at 13M. So, 20M is probably not going to happen, unless you want to wait months for them to sell. So, most likely 30M for the BPC is overpriced.

you're welcome sweetie. not too long ago, i was wondering myself how some of the BPCs i found were magically reappearing in my hangar....
