Does Downtime Reset an Epic arc mission?

Anyone ever not turn in an epic arc mission? I lost a mission item and I am wondering if I just try again tomorrow if it will reset?

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

Never mind, got a intervention and I get to redo the mission. Thanks GM.

they reset if you didn't "complete" only (same as other missions).
