1. Seems like every time you jump into a new system, there's an automatic scan for anomalies? Is there a way to disable this? It could be very distracting in PvP.

2. Seems like selecting an object in overview will make the camera follow that object. Any way to change that as well? It interferes with piloting in PvP...

3. Gate jumping animations. Not really a fan of fancy flashy stuff, is there a way to disable this animation?

((I don't know why CCP keeps focusing on all this vanity fluff when major game issues are still not addressed, like fixing 0.0 At least they've made some changes to frigates, and that's what's brought me back))

4. How has the solo frigate /small gang landscape changed with all the changes to frigates and T1 cruisers and the introduction of new Destroyers? I can't tell much from just the patch notes, but it looks like it should have made most, if not all, frigates a viable option in PvP depending on circumstance, as opposed to how we had it before where 1-2 frigate from each race was the only option for PvP. So how has the power shifted? I've seen some mention of "rifters are useless now" on the forums, and would like to know if this is because of a nerf to rifters that I haven't seen in the patch notes, or more because the other frigates are now a better option?
And could someone please describe what are the intended differences between "Attack" frigates and "Combat" frigates? I haven't been able to figure that out other than just guess by the composition of the ships in these categories that "attack" frigates are speed-based ships whereas "combat" ones are brawlers?

Thanks for any help!

Press 'c'. It's a toggle switch.

It can be handy in some cases, but not when on by the default.

1 - Nope, some of us are asking for it. Use the launcher top bottom left was/is an survey, fill it in and let your voice be heard.
2 - Is new toggle top left on your 'selected item' window.
3 - Nope, lots of us have asked for some modification, might be something in the works, see https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=243438&find=unread

Oh, one more curious thing. I can sometimes see green lines that connect stars. Almost looks like it's supposed to show jump connections between systems? Is that what it is? Doesn't seem to be very useful for anything, though...

That's your current route.

Edit: You can turn it off if you like. Click the A next to the route and deselect 'show route path in space'

Oh, one more thing.

What's this "Safety" button on the hud?

Taken from http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Safety :

eveonline.com wrote:
There are two levels of illegal behavior: "suspect" and "criminal". The safety system ensures that you cannot commit illegal behavior without deliberately switching off your safety first.

Your safety system has three states: enabled, partially disabled and disabled.

-While ENABLED, you cannot commit any kind of illegal act
-While PARTIALLY DISABLED, you can commit acts that will get you a suspect flag, but not those that would get you a criminal flag
-While DISABLED, you can do anything you like, up to and including criminal acts.

Simply the worst capsuleer there's ever been.
