So why do people hate cloaking?

This really offends you, it seems. First of all, boo hoo. Secondly, that's not cowardly, that's smart. Exploiting the psychological weakness of a foe (that being, that they are cowards and run if they see a red in system) is extremely good gameplay. Thirdly, why do you even care? People pay for some pretty crazy crap in this game. I once paid someone to sing "Little Teapot" on comms for twenty minutes until our FC flipped his lid.

Might as well sink to the level of the people I'm talking to. I've been told that my preponderance of verbosity is frequently misconstrued as snobbery.

But mostly, because that's all the anti cloak arguments really boil down to. Nothing but boo hoo. "I hate afk cloaking, and it should go away because I hate it!"

That's all you've got. That, and your pedantic argument of repeating the words "poor game design" as often as possible and hoping it sticks.

Incredible 662 posts in a thread that should have been locked a long time ago. This topic has been covered ad nauseam. Although there have been some great point counter point discussions, the majority is pyramid posts and rants. Lets do it all again with another topic
