Security status once it drops to 0 should always be negative and merely jumping into a high sec system should get a pirate killed, the same way the U.S. Navy and British Navy before terminated with extreme prejudice pirate scumbags.

piracy already has consequences

go back to warfart

also all characters start with sec status at 0, so that would pretty much turn every new character officially into a pirate.

Make missions have real consequenses!

Killing a rat should make the faction hunt you, and merely entering high sec should make the rats send a fleet after you, which will no matter what kill you!

Mining should have real consequenses!

Make asterois moving, and make them able to smash into mining ships, in a way that makes them explode, so that people cant make unlimited isk mining!

Mining should have real consequences. Mining should flag you as an ecological terrorist able to be shot by anyone.

Make exploration in high sec have real consequenses!

Make it so that evil drones scan you down everytime you use a scanner. Make it so that they kill you merely for pressing the scan button.

Would those be the same scumbags who had tea with the queen and bore their letter of marque proudly?

Being a pirate and being on good terms with a nation are hardly mutually exclusive.

Pirates shot him and he is unable to do anything about it, so now he wants ccp to punish them.

I agree nobody should be allowed in highsec.

It sucks anyway.

I chose to engage the -10 ninja salvager, in a situation I knew I would probably lose. But it doesn't make sense to me all these scumbags running around ganking people without consequences, and when you have to fit your ship or fly entirely DIFFERENT ships for PVE/PVP... a player shooting at you without getting concorded is NOT a meaningful consequence.... if the PVP crowd wants to engage PVE even if they don't want it, CCP should either make the NPCs maniacally hunt the pirates, or make PVP/PVE fitting and ships the same ergo, I could easily PVE AND PVP in the same ship with the same fitting.

More accurately: pirates shot him and he refuses to do anything about it, so now he wants CCP to compensate for his incompetence.

…which is exactly what raises the question: why?

It's not without consequence, though. If there is a problem, it's because you, specifically, have actively chosen to voide those consequences you want to see. To fix that “problem”, the solution is simple: choose differently.

Go here: Learn to quickly train gank alt.

Go to -10.00

Come back and maintain your argument.

Until then. STFU about it already.

.... 1 v 1 I would have won, pirate was a multiboxer.... I took him to structure even though I was completely and ridiculously NOT fitted for a PVP engagement.

So really this is about multiboxing then.

Perhaps one of the alts was an OFF GRID BOOSTER?

Or perhaps even a ... FALCON
