If we take CONCORD and HighSec out of the equation, my money is on either the Goonswarm Mass Titan Hot Drop & Doomsday barage or the unexpected Sansha Incursion...

In order from most powerful to least:

Star Trek - Depends on era. Voyager w/ anti-borg plating was pretty tough
Stargate SG-1 assuming they have the Asgard weapons / shields
Stargate Universe - assuming a fully powered Destiny
EvE Ships - Some rust buckets still use projectile artillery! Talk about old-school.
The Normandy in Mass Effect (particle weapons) but poor space combat track record
Battlestar Galactica - best show but bullets? Come on. 80's Battlestar would be in EvE ship class though
Starship Troopers. Flying cans of Raid bug killer is all they are.

Signatures should be used responsibly...

Starship Troopers vs. DUST 514 mercs would be interesting. An even match, I guess. Then again, the troopers in the book have personal tactical nuke missiles. Not sure about the DUSTies.

Edit: DUSTie have orbital bombardment. I forgot about that. Might be an even match. But Troopers might win style points for having the first ever mechanized dropsuits.
