Fitting skills, gunnery support skills, missile support skills to 5, all races subcaps ship skills, all large T2 guns trained.

Look at me I'm nerf proof! I don't need to train for the FOTM, I'm already there.

WoW you just need 1 account to play every race/class in both factions.

You're kinda forced to play every race and class because there's so little content to keep players occupied. Any content that was relevant in the past is now obsolete, there is no need for players to interact or communicate, less than 1% of the player base does heroic level raiding so there is no need for meaningful guilds and you're basically stuck doing the same dailies and BGs every day. Blizzard continue to make the game easier and easier for casual players and continue to kill off World PvP on PvP servers to satisfy carebears. There is literally no content beyond dailies, LFR and transmog runs.

Meanwhile, those who complained about the game was getting easier and easier, are playing games like EvE. Which is easier than WoW in many of the very ways they complain about. So it's not the ease itself.

It not that the game is easier, it's that the routine doesn't change. Class specs; the bosses; the dailies and such change, but not the basic routines. People get bored of the same routines. "What do I do today?" becomes punching the same timecard, for years.

Those who love the same routine for years (like my sis, who worked at one job for over 30 years), it's terrific. She's treating WoW like it's the best thing since sliced bread, it's not boring to her. But for those who PvP, the same routine gets old to THEM.

Those who prefer a steady diet of thrills (like a drug high) will get disappointed in games with the same routines.

So, again, it's not one game thats going to satisfy everyone. Just like EvE, there isn't just one play style in this game to keep interest all the time. What players like in EvE for one segment of gameplay is fun to them, but incredibly boring for another segment. If it become too boring, they search for something new and refreshing.

To me PvP is something to do on the side to break the tandem, as it's carefree. But it doesn't replace what I enjoy playing MMOs for (things that can't be found in other genre of games). My class in WoW no other game has. It's unique. That's it's pull to me. I tolerate the tandem to play it. Just like in EvE, it's market and crafting is unique. That's why I play the game. I tolerate the wholesale PvP to play it.

The issue is the routines and interest. If they aren't changed around every once in a while, or the game doesn't offer something unique, people get tired of it.

It's called, burn out.
