Eve definitely win! Insert spy.

Star Trek - Prefix codes acquired. Probably don't even need a spy for that. It's a 5 digit numerical code that my Iphone can crack in about 60 seconds. Shields go down. One must always learn why things work on a starship. Technobabble defeated. Fight over.

Star Wars - Spy infiltrates Deathstar, gets plans demonstrating a silly exhaust port accessible from the surface is the means of its imminent destruction, SB launches bomb....game over.

Don't ban me, bro!

You people are obviously forgetting what a group of pilots (jedi) in small frigates are capable of. In the prime of the Jedi Council... you think your stupid 100 titans could hold up? And wtf are borg without arms????

What you Star Wars types always forget, your story happened "Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away..." You're ancient history, at least Star Trek purports to be in the future. Lol

The things we do today we must live with forever.... Think about it

SIgh.... The Q continumm makes by far whatever you can think of in any Sci FI universe probably meaningless... they just think of capsuleers to stop existing and poof we are no more...

This kind of topics are a waste of time, specially when you define parameters as idiotic as "Any Race".

Now if you took away TRUE god like beings like the Q away, you have the most ******* broken techno babble and lore in Star wars, a single T-65 Incom starfighter, also known as X wing, is armed with multi megaton repeating lasers and can keep firing them forever, while being able to travel at warp speeds that give them absolute tactical and strategic advantage, and the size of the Empire in star wars, its so mind blogging large its actually impossible, we are talking about a WHOLE galactic empire, while in EVE we can barely hold a few star systems under control.

And then we have numbers, quote from wookipedia:

"The Imperial Navy, also known as the Imperial Starfleet, Imperial Fleet, Imperial Battlefleet, or Imperial Space Service, was the naval branch of the Imperial Military of the Galactic Empire. At its peak, it fielded millions of warships, logistics vessels and fighters, maintaining Imperial control throughout the galaxy. "

also this:http://www.stardestroyer.net/tlc/Power/index.html

basically the minimum possible firepower of ships in star wars, its worse than being nuked by a doomsday each millisecond....

so its totally broken and there is no reasonable way to compare star wars war ships to eve, we would get all owned by a single tie fighter....

addendum:
as tipia said in a colorfull way, then there is the force... some single humanoid beings in the star wars universe are capable of downing a warship just waving their arms at it...

2 things, codes have improved slightly....and as far as spies, could you tell data apart from your leaders on comms? Shocked

You make a valid point, good Sir or Madam.

Star Wars loses to Eve. One stealth bomber with a torpedo can destroy a death star.

Star Trek loses to Eve. Hot drops and Titans.

Q would just snap his fingers and every potential threat would form a conga line into the nearest sun.

Or every sun would form a conga line into the nearest threat.

Eve is in last place. Insanely limited weapons ranges, very slow sub-light speed, and the reliance on jump gates and/or cynos guarantees that Eve forces will be out maneuvered and destroyed by Star Wars and Star Trek forces.

Between Star Wars and Star Trek... I would have to give the advantage to Star Trek again because of the maneuverability issue. Star Trek ships, while traveling at warp speeds can target and fire on enemy ships, thus making Star Wars ships sitting ducks. Plus turbolasers and proton torpedoes don't seem like much of a match for phasers and photon torpedoes.

edit: tl;dr ST ships can kite everybody

I'd be more interested in an EVE vs. Mass Effect matchup.

Reapers facing off against the combined defense fleet above Earth, then suddenly a massive wormhole opens, Titan, dreadnoughts, and countless other ships pouring out, accompanied by a single message:

"We are home."

I would say Star Wars would win, no one else has Star Destroyers.

But if Star Trek TNG pulled out Wesley Crusher, well then we are all DOOMED. Lol

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

This is easy - Star Wars. Michio Kaku all ready figured it out. People in Star Trek are a type 1 civilization. People in Star Wars are a type 2. EVE is basically a type 1. Star Wars wins.

I say looking at the next 100 years that there are two trends in the world today. The first trend is toward what we call a type one civilization, a planetary civilization, a civilization that resembles something out of "Buck Rogers" or "Flash Gordon." A type two civilization is stellar. They consume so much energy they can play with stars. That is for example the Federation of Planets in "Star Trek." "Star Trek" would represent the typical type two civilization. Then we have type three, which is galactic like the Borg or "Independence Day" or the empire of "The Empire Strikes Back." That is a type three civilization, which is truly galactic. Now by the time you reach type two, you are immortal. Nothing known to science can destroy a type two civilization. Comets, meteors, earthquakes, even a supernova.

Compared to these two giants Eve is mere cyberpunk. After all, our physics model works more like "aether" then a real vacuum. That means the technology with which earthlings at some point discovered New Eden was more or less a continuation of Jules Vernes work and secretly all that crap happened in 1905.
