Implants for a Freighter Pilot

I just bought my very own Fenrir, and it is a beautiful beast. It's big and slow with a fat belly, but that makes seeing it finally blast into warp all the more viscerally satisfying.

I know to save myself some sanity I'll need to fill my head with implants to speed the Great Grizzly Bear on its way, so I wanted to check with my fellow capsuleers. I'm sure the ideal end state would be a full set of Nomads, which are holy crap expensive, but I was more interested in Slots 6-10 for now. So far I've come up with the following as a sort of 'starter set':

6: Eifyr & Co. 'Rogue' Warp Drive Speed WS-610 (+10% warp speed)
7: Eifyr & Co. 'Rogue' Evasive Maneuvering EM-703 (+3% agility)
8: Inherent Implants 'Noble' Mechanic MC-803 (+3% hull)
9: ???
10: Inherent Implants 'Noble' Hull Upgrades HG-1003 (+3% armor)

About all I could find in Slot 9 that would help was some +shield recharge, but the Fenrir's shields don't see much benefit. Am I missing any other combinations that would defend this tub or make it corner better?

And related: I also mine and do industry. I'm assuming I'd be best off implanting a separate jump clone with all these fiddly bits, and have the other for non-freightery activities?

Thanks in advance for any responses Big smile

If you intend to use the clone for more than freighter work then only use an agility and a velocity implant and use the remaining slots for more practical implants. The velocity implant will help you with other activities likely better than a warp speed implant.

If you intend to use the clone exclusively for freighter work then I suggest you still only use an agility and a warp speed implant.

Forget about the hull and armor implant. The Fenrir has got the weakest hull of freighters and even with your implants will it have ~20k eHP less than an Obelisk. Freighter gankers are the most organized and most experienced gankers there are. They have to be. The implants will make no difference to the outcome other than to sweeten the podkill.

So if they're going to kill me, they're going to kill me; focus on QoL for the times I'm alive? What?

Save the ISKs for a full set of low-grade Nomad implants.

^ Speaking the truth... Save for LG Nomad. The only real implants for pro-freighter pilot out there.
