Those are the ones still mining and making RL threats to agents. You will find New Order agents are very happy with the world. Both RL and New Eden.

Take in it to the forums eh? This is classic.

Okay, what I meant was that I feel that converting non-compliant vessel into a rapidly expanding cloud of radioactive particles is an improvement.

Just buy your permit man, mine freely while the others scurry away and hide.

Actually I think the only time anyone ever considers them relevant now is when someone, normally one of their alts brings them up on the forums.

They are old news, move along.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Whoa!

Hurting the bottom line is taboo.

The New Order is good for the game, its content created by someone in highsec which is incredibly rare. Also if miners want someone else to be in charge of highsec they need to stop being AFK and vote against James next time.

Ah, don't have to worry about voting for James et al, their actions alone can get themselves banned.

Truly went into newb land and try to scam them? That's S.M.A.R.T. tactics only Homer would do. Shocked

Are you trying to insinuate that we should take a forum alt at their word over uncorroborated "crimes against newbies?"

I have an anecdote too:

One time there was this miner in the belt and they were AFK, then all of a sudden a talos appeared and the miner died. The miner was a 5 year old newbie in a faction fit hulk mining in one of the starter systems. The miner responded with vitriol in local and a petition, and a pitiful forum thread.

If you're tired of the new order the solution isn't a petition, thread or vitriol. The solution is to organize and do something about them. Or to not be AFK so you can vote the next time there is an election for "The Saviour of Highsec."

Oh great, more wardec spam in my EVEmail...

"Disgruntled Carebear Corp X Declares War on CODE. Alliance"

[one week later]

"CONCORD Invalidates War Between Disgruntled Carebear Corp X and CODE. Alliance"

Shrug, I suppose it gives me something to giggle at while I'm waiting out timers...

New order, lol dont make me laugh three of them from New Order Logistics where sat off the station in Jouvoulen (A noob starter system) scaming in local stating that to play this game you gad to pay them 5 million in hisec fees and another 10 million if you wanted to mine. Then they were bumping noobs less than a day old off the undock. When I undocked in a Ferox, locked and took one of them into Hull in one shot they docked rather sharpishsly. And soon left system when CCP turned up and told them to get the hell out or risk being banned.

Funny thing is, none of this is probably true. Shooting someone in hisec would result in a ferox lossmail to Concord, which I don't see, and CCP has stated that bumping is a bannable offense. Most likely the story was probably that you got bumped, cried about it, yellowboxed some people and then ran away.

Really? Oh alright then, I must have been concorded, but I think I would have know about that don't you think? And considering that you CAN shoot pilots that have -5 security status or lower.
Of the three pilots in question, 2 had a sec status of -9.something and one had a sec status of -7.3 so low and be hold, no concord. Sucks to have your theory demolished in front of you doesn't it? Lol

That's funny, because you claim that they were "sat off station" and a low sec status character can't sit anywhere in space without the faction police showing up and killing them.

I mean, it was already obvious that you're just making this up, but that last post seals it. Well done.

Faction police take a) time to show up and arent as "instantkill" as concord and b) you can keep docking up (which is what was happening) in which case faction police bugger off after so many minutes.

I expcted instant dismissal from a New Order guy. (and goonswarm when they get on).

Edit: for the record, when you guys started this whole CODE thing, I thought it was fantastic, and when it boils down to it, added content and was very well executed. And when you do your original job, I think its funny and very well done. But when three where doing it in Jouv, I don't condone it.

Expect instant dismissal from anyone with a brain until you produce screenshots, character names, any kind of evidence at all really, to support your increasingly outlandish story.

Also, how dare you try to tell me how the faction police work. I'm on a first-name-basis with the mother-******s! Lol

I personally am not a new order agent but I have hung with them on occasion and as much as you might dislike them or what james is doing it is content and everyone in that group is having more fun than any miner I have ever met. He is preachy but hey, the man has people shouting his name and having a blast.

Don.

I am just here to snuggle and do spy stuff.

That last line, I quite like that.
However, I can't just pull screenshots out of my backside when none where taken? You're saying back it up with proof that this happened. That works both ways.
I have no issue with New Order and what they do as I've stated above except when it's done in stater systems.
I am not going to try and prove to you what I saw and what happened because I have no proof, thefefore I cant. Go back to organising gank fleets on ice miners and people who dont warp off from belts when you bump them repeatedly. That stuff was fun. But you dont hear about that kind of stuff from you guys anymore Straight

-9.something

I remember numbers easier than made up names... But I don't state that I remember their sec status to perfection... Hence .something...

Anywho, I'm unsubscribing from this thread now as cba to argue. I know what happened the rest of you can have a lovely day Big smile

No one says all miners are victims - or that gankers can't learn from their supposed prey. That's the natural order of things, anyway: Young preditors go looking for prey, and sometimes bite off more than they can chew. Soon enough, they learn what they can, and cannot bite, and become experienced preditors. Meanwhile, young miners get eaten, and learn how to tank their ships so as to note get eaten. Soon, the remaining experienced preditors are only munching on the remaining foolish miners.

There's such balance in nature. Blink

No idea what detective work has gone on, but I'd be surprised if James has ever activated a strip miner. He made bilions as Curran Trading operating a now well documented ponzi scheme.

I am sorry that the New Order hasn't visited the people who have said in this thread they've never seen them in system. If you'd care to check out the CODE. killboard you will see that they do regularly visit miners and tell them of the New Halaima Code of Conduct. Of course that doesn't cover all of the Knights of the New Order as some are in other corps not affiliated withe CODE. Nor does it include countless bumps and lost strip cycles, and glorious tears that no killboard ever shows. Luckily there is the blog.

If you saw New Order Agents scamming noobs in the starter systems, then you should petition them as CCP doesn't like that sort of thing. However, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that no New Order agent or Knight was responsible for this. The New Order operates scrupulously within the EULA.

I love the fact that James admits running a Ponzi scheme.

That's so Delboy. And not in a good way lol.

No, the solution is to move somewhere they're not, which is pretty much everywhere since there's not really that many of them, despite their tedious vocality in the C&P roleplaying forum, and then completely forget they exist. I was worried when I first started playing, but I've never seen one.
