When you are not subscribed, you are not a customer. Roll The fact that you're a soldier out on deployment; I applaud you for your dedication to keep the world safe. It doesn't however change the initial statement.

Customers were given ample warning of the upcoming changes.

CCP is friendly enough to store your characters and possessions for you whilst you are NOT a customer, that is a nice bonus. That is as far as it goes though.

Like RaTTuS posted; if you could fly it before, you can now. No harm done.

Seriously, there is no need for "free stuff" here.

you cannot get anyone else to run skills for you it is against the EULA

and you where away for over a year with no access to the internet to see what was happening. - I don't believe you

Even Blizzard changes the game while service people are away -- and majorly -- and doesn't reimburse them.

My main had to stop tradeskill training to level Battlecruisers V and Warfare links to IV for Command ships, and all the side skills to do so (42 days of tradeskill training lost). Didn't like it, but the alternative was having to train additional Battlecruisers and spend another 40 days leveling warfare links to fly anything but a cruiser, too. So even if folks were here, they had to suffer regardless.

I'm pretty sure the announcements for the SP changes we detailed extensively across multiple newsletters.

Are you saying you do not get a news letter if not subscribed? or that you chose NOT to have the newsletter by unsubscribing from it in account options?

Everyone who trained for BV, DV all stopped their training to do this, missing out on other skill training to do so.

I remember getting an email about "The great ship change of 2013" was in one of the news letters or a dev blog or something that definitly got emailed my way.

Not to mention it was plastered all over the game for months...Months!!! Yes you were away, and couldn't play. So if you were not playing it didn't effect you until after you got back. Not to mention, if you could fly it before, you can fly it now...

It's human nature to want to explore. To find your line and go beyond it. The only limit, is the one you set yourself.

well not really seen all the newsletters by ccp and its not unsuscribed because i was updated by newsletters but not with the important information i think a 2 month warning news letter had to been sent to all users

as some say down here they had to suffer 42 days of tranining but trust me 154 days its now same skill took less time i think its not right

As others have said, you didn't lose anything, you just didn't gain things that people playing the game did. They announced the changes 2 fan fests ago I believe, with something like 18 months notice. They can hardly be expected to do more than they did. Your post that you would willfully break the EULA and cheat for some SP gain for ships that you weren't even flying doesn't help your case.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

It was announced for a long time in varied ways including newsletters.

But wait a second, I haven't played AoC in over a year... They have created some new tokens!
Quick! I must go there and file a petition so I get all the stuffz.

Not this again, the simple answer is that CCP widely published the skill changes for a considerable period of time, and no you won't get your SP reimbursed, I like many others changed skill plans to take advantage of the changes and that was a time sink I could have done without at the time, but I'm glad that I did.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I don't want to sound harsh, but you are in the army, deployed somewhere. Unless you are a cook you get a nice chance to be shot at. Then you come back (hopefully still healthy and in 1 piece) and this makes you butthurt enough to start a petition ? Seriously ?
You can still fly the ships . Some ships are now easier to get into and some got a bit higher / changed requirements. So ? Hardly worth mentioning unless you want to fly everything (and that will take some time anyway). If it is not worth training for you now, then leave it and move to some other ship (type) .

Looking for a group to pew with ? Have a chat with me.

It's not because you "think they should" that you are right, every one in this game could watch fanfest videos read comments and forum threads for over a year about this specific change.

You got away for a year for whatever professional or personal reason no one should care except one point: happy to know you got safe back home

For everything else please stop moaning.

Edit: what I'm trying to say is simple, the fact you can't or couldn't do whatever in the middle of the desert but keep you ass safe is one thing, complaining you couldn't play your favorite game and that you should get a bonus for having a sandy ass at this point, sry not gonna happen for that reason or another and you should think a bit about it before blindly insist.
