this is hilarious. I think it's ironic that after making such valid points in another forum topic of this same idea it depresses me that the subject has just moved onto new open topics. I mean, why can't people admit they can personally do things to mitigate their own risks to not get suicide ganked?

there are so many ways for miners to mitigate their losses, I've stated i don't know how many time in various places. Miners that get suicide ganked on a regular basis need to move away from where they're doing their stuff and spread out so that there's not such a higher concentration of them.

I'm an industrialist. I mine. I have 3 hulk pilots on separate accounts. I also have an orca pilot. none of them have been ganked for about/over 4 years. if I can do it so can they. oh, by the way, I'm in high sec, in an entire constellation where there are almost never more than 2 to 3 other individual people. we each have about 4 or 5 toons and stay in separate systems that we mine in. when hulkageddon rolls around we each stick 1 alt toon in the outside systems (there's 3 of them) while we stick to the center of the constellation with our mining toons (yes, we consolidate to 1 system) and we also don't fly hulks during hulkageddon. funny thing... our constellation isn't the only one like that in high sec. there's quite a few, you just have to go find them. now people pass through, yeah, but other than the random person going through, it's incredibly quiet.

over 90% of all suicide ganks take place within 3 jumps of the major hubs. less than 3% of all suicide ganks take place outside 6 jumps from the major hubs. if you don't believe me do the math yourself.

I will continue to mine and do industry, and so will the people I hang out in that constellation with. I have contacted several people with alliances capable of quite a bit of industry that live outside of high sec. they will also not be supporting the OP's cause. our reason for not supporting the OP's cause is that there are many things high sec miners can do to mitigate their losses that they deliberately choose not to do.

gankers, I currently have 400 destroyers in the oven, 100 for each race. I am a lone person, only capable of so much... but I will do what I can. oh, I also have 2800 t1 small turrets (700 small pulse, 700 small autocannon, and 1400 blaster) that are also in the oven. I already have tens of millions of ammo to replenish the major hubs with when needed. I started on it about 2 weeks ago.

oh yeah, to everyone - only fly what you can afford to lose. I do.
