Thats never going to happen because of 3 reasons
1) Im sure many mining characters have quite poor combat skills
2) Who actually is a dedicated miners but also PvPs? (Im not talking about someone with an alt that mines/does industry because its easier than running a mission or incursion while your trying to PvP)
3) MIners who mine to buy a better mining ship to mine faster to buy a better mining ship, when they get the best ship all they do is print money and never spend it except on mining crystals and the drones they lose to rats (if they lose any)

Spending some of their hard earned on mercs wouldn't be too difficult and many also have combat alts.

It's doable. For mine, the naysayers are daring the miners to fail and miners are just coming up with reasons to fail.

Why are miners so quick to make it fait accompli? FORCING CHANGE requires effort. The silence must be heard...

I say unsub unless pvp is stopped! It isnt fair to explode someoene else's ships anymore, please please please make Eve online a single player game, or possibly just sharded so that people can FINALLY be safe!

Oh, sorry, not sure what came over me then, what I meant to say was bring it on...

Suicide ganking (while somethign I find incredibly dull and boring) is a valid in game activity, teh only change to this should be that it invalidates insurance, simply because that is common sense.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.

1) Suicide ganking is sooooo much part of the game that it ONLY happens to unarmed industrial vessels.
2) It is perfectly legal, that's why Concord blows you up in retaliation.

But yes I DO agree that insurance should be removed. It's a no-consequence activity conducted and supported by gankers who say miners should not be able to play without consequence.

I am NOT asking for suicide ganking per se to be removed. In fact I am asking that either 1) mining vessels are insured to their full value or 2) they cannot be targets while IN USE.

It's NOT a lot to ask for. I am open as to whether the transport of minerals is subject to the same rules. I'd suggest that they should not be.

As "compensation" I'd suggest that corps that have been war-decced cannot have players move from corp under the war-dec and no NPC corp member can mine. Thus the concept of mining in "pure safety" is void as guys that repeatedly flood markets, including bots are forced to be legitimate targets.

TL;DR: Mining vessels should be able to mine or the consequence of a gank needs to be quid pro quo.

As a "G**n alt", I visited close to 150 systems today posting this thread link. Even G**ns would support this fact as I personally said hello to Weasilor and a like named alt in my travels to the Gallente icefields.

Ask the guy sitting ready for gankers in those fields in his stealth bomber.

Ask the dudes in Rens, Amarr, Hek and Jita.

Then come back to me and make another meaningful post.

So, do i understand correctly, that you want to fight suicide ganking and force CCP to remove it, but actively using suicide ganking anyone who isnt greeing with your policy? Wait... wha?
