In terms of ice it would probably spike the isotope prices and create an incentive for people to ice mine in nullsec.

We've already done with some of our members offering public bounties for dead miners in the Interdiction Zone: tossing pennies at the hisec rabble and watching them slaughter each other over their greed.

Every time there is an event based around popping Miners there is always this one dude who pops up on the forums and is like Miners Unite. It is also always like they were the first ever to think of it too.

This followed by no concurring action in game. Since most people do not read the forums and the ones who do, don't check everyday the word never spreads because no one does the leg work.

Then there are the Miners who don't care as well as the bots who will continue to supply people if even 10% listened to this idea.

All together this equals only one thing. Thread number 352 about how the Miners are gonna stick it to the Gankers. Gonna work this time. For Realsies.

God Help me I love it.

I will be flying into as many systems as possible to pass the word. I'd really love some help. Just fly around and post this thread as a link in local.
