Target painters broken !!!

Target painters do nothing ad all .
I used for 2 months 2 faction painters on my golem and after i removed them i sie no difference ad al .

The just do nothing ad all .

I need some more details.

Which missile launchers were you using?
Which target did you fire upon?

If you are using cruise missiles with target painters on battleships it won't make much (if any difference). But target painters on a frigate will.
