Up until two days ago my EvE launcher had been working fine. I was able to log into the game without any issues.

Yesterday when I tried to log into the game it forced me to do a 4.3 GB update, which I found surprising since there was no mention of a patch. I let the patch download, and once it was complete I logged into the game without any issues.

Eventually I logged out of the game, but later that day when I tried to log in again, the launcher required me to again download a 4.3 GB update! I let it download again, and again I was able to log in fine without a problem after the update.

This morning I tried to log into the game for a third time, and AGAIN it's making me download a 4.3 GB update! I'm not going to bother downloading until this issue is resolved.

FYI I run my EvE client through Steam.
