Time and time again history has shown that anyone who goes against The State suffers dire consequences. We, The Caldari, are strong people, successful people, beautiful people. We are here because we are above all. We are here because we fought with tooth and nail to BE the ones who will conquer and prosper.

The Gallentes, the inferior ones, thought we were a force to be trifled with. We are not, and now we can't stop, won't stop until every single one with a drop of Gallente blood, or loyalty, is dead. We've taken back what belongs to us, the vast majority of contested systems are back where they belong...safe with us. Now it is only a matter of time before we take back the few that are left. We will take no prisoners.

This is what happens when when you don't think. It's too late now, whether they surrender or not, the enemy will fall.

I am loyal to my land and people. What that man did to us is unforgivable, and frankly, I would kill him with my bare hands if I had the opportunity.

We are prospering more than ever without him.

My point concerns the Gallente military-industrial complex and the buffoons who run it, thinking they have the power to take us on.

You know, this isn't the first time I've heard these sentiments from the Caldari Militia. Nor is it the first time that the Warzone has been heavily held by either side.

Every time, we hear the same thing. Every time, the tide is reversed.

You will learn.

Oh look, they're breeding...

When your gut instincts tell you something is wrong, trust them. When your heart tells you something is right, ignore it, check with your brain first. Accept nothing, challenge everything.

You're all talk. After we're done with the Gallente, you people are next. You'll get what is coming to you for aiding the enemy.

While I admire the zeal you have to your State and people, you blind yourself with hate and pettiness.

I am also curious as to whom you refer to when you say everyone with a drop of Gallente blood must be killed as I am fairly certain a large number of your own people might take issue with that proclamation.

He already clarified that he was speaking of Gallente militarists, I believe. In any case, the State does take prisoners, and generally treats them better than the Federation treats Caldari POWs.

As to the original poster, I would like to remind him that we need not descend to the level of the enemy to beat them. Indeed, to remain Caldari, we must reject the Gallente tendency towards vindictiveness, assaults on civilians, and death squads. We should follow the example of Yanala, not Luc Duvalier or the Templis Dragonaurs.

When the State strikes, it strikes with methodical precision and a cold lack of mercy, not the hot-headedness of Gallente war-mongerers. Trust in steel, not in spirit.

Typical Rookie talk. Shooting your mouth when things are looking a bit bright. Believe me, I fully know what I'm talking of. I remember a time when the Caldari Militia held EVERY system in the warzone for almost a year, when the CPD got so cocky in their superiority that they chose to Auction off Development Rights to the Megas.

And I remember Covryn. The First system to return to our hands. The First of Many. The Mega's soon learned the cost of that cockiness.

Done with the Gallente? Even after 5 years, This has barely begun....

I've fought for many years for my Mother's kin, now I fight for my Fathers. See you in Space, Rookie.

You are a shining example of the best the Caldari State has to offer. Your kinsmen should be proud to claim you as one of their own. Just as we Gallente hold our, Laurienne 'Quafegirl' Cherbourg in high regard.

This kind of freak show is why I'm voting for Roden again next election. We've got to keep that military strong in case lighting does strike twice, and Kado's style of thinking catches on again.

Hard to believe that I was like Civ Kado just a short six months ago.

Kirjuun - I have been here before. There are forces at work within the Militias that owe no alleigance to the State, pilots fighting under our banner that wouldn't know what Heiian was if it was rolled into a tube and batted across their noses. Although the arrogance of the Electus Matari pilot may be hard to bear, he is RIGHT in this case.

The warzone is cyclical in nature. We can speculate as to why, but the pendulum has swung before and it will swing again. Use that knowledge to temper your viciousness in victory as it will also temper your despair in defeat. And, above all, do nothing to the captured prisoners you take that will invoke the wrath of some future Gallente occupier on our own people.

Boastful statements are best left to Julianus Soter, X-Gallentius and their ilk. A dignified silence becomes us better.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Apologies if I came across as arrogant, Colonel, I've heard this tale from members of all 4 Militias over the years, usually ones barely out of the Academies. It's not so much arrogance as a healthy dose of cynicism.

No problem at all, Spike Lieutenant. You seemed to speak specifically against the Caldari but, of course, since you were speaking to Cado-haan that makes sense.

And yes, it does tend to infect the young, this disease called hubris. I suppose when you're part of your first big victory you think it'll be forever. I'm sure when he's kesseled up in his first fortress system with the enemies beating on the gates he'll learn, as we did, that nobody wins the Forever War.

You know, I actually look up to you, as you're a great pilot. But with all due respect, if it weren't for the "grunts" like myself, we wouldn't have pushed forward and been where we are right now. It's the new blood filled with patriotism and ambition that took us places, and I hear this from many pilots, new and old, not something I am making up. The seasoned pilots tend to be cynical and apathetic towards the cause.

Woah, woah. I'm nothing more than a grunt pilot myself, kirjuun! The State Protectorate can slap as much silver on my collar as it likes, but I still make my money flying a Kestrel or a Condor in the warzone - just like you do.

I'm just saying, the situation will change, it always does. If you post brash hurrahs when we're winning, you'll feel it all the more keenly when the boot is on the other foot.

@ OP

Was it really so difficult to avoid beating your chest like an untrained monkey in victory?

You appear here with absolutely no sense of respect or honor. Spitting on your defeated foes and making yourself to be a braggart. Instead of treating this glory to the State with any form of tact or dignity, you decide to smear your literary excrement around the IGS.

You've done a great job out there, truly, and we're all proud of your victory... but please shut your mouth and keep your hands away from the console.

It's time to stop posting now.

Somebody really needs to hook this guy up with Diana Kim.

In other news, once the State has control of the contested systems for a while and the theater gets stale, capsuleers will change their allegiances more readily than their underwear in search of the next "good fight," and the Federation will gain momentum yet again.

The pendulum swings.
