Unable to split stacks with contracts.

The option shows up to split a stack while making a contract. I can then enter a number to split the stack, but the stack will not split. I talked with several people in game and all had the same problem. It started with the patch released on July 2nd.

I had the same problem today I was 54 jumps deep in null sec trying to sell an item in Amarr, had to go there manually unstack the items what a pita!

Same thing. Gives you the option to split the stack but when trying to do so does not split the stack.

I filed a bug report for this yesterday but it is still in "This report has not yet been filtered" state, which probably mean nobody even looked at it.

Same here. It is impossible (for me) to split stacks when setting up a contract.

Not nececarily. Besides that, it can take quite a wile before bug reports are processed, depending on the amound of bugs being reported. There are only so many people resolving the reports, and they are only human. Relax, this bug is anoying but not gamebreaking.
That said, I too want this to be resolved as quickly as posible....

Molic, it may have started a day sooner. Regardless, this always worked before and the option is there, so it simply is a bug with a recent patch.

The option to split a stack is crucial--if it were not there, issuing contracts would come to a halt.

I have the same observations. We can only hope it gets fixed soon. :/

Especially because they just killed the bug reporting system.

Yes sir, Huang. Here is my response to this bug report I filed from the Help Menu "Support Ticket" (Bug Reporting no longer there).

From GM Moustache:

"Hi there,

Thank you for informing us about this issue. It would be greatly appreciated if you could please file a bug report on this matter as well. You can do so from within the game client by pressing F12 while logged into game. You will see a window with several sections and buttons, one of which will have the label “Report Bug”.

Please include as many details as you can, including any screenshots you may have, so our testers can try and reproduce the issue.

Automated systems often get you nowhere and certainly this is an example of that. GM Moustache's auto-reply obviously does not take into account the Bug Reporting system is no longer there. All F12 does is get me to the same system I first reported on the Support Ticket, so all this does is go in circles.

Couriers, get your rest ... once they fix this, there will be quite a backlog of contracts that will be issued. I have contracts I can't put out because I can't split the stacks to make the packages 120 m3.

Anyway, you guys are great at CCP and do a super job. Bugs happen and I know you will fix this. By the way, it has been quite a while since the contract interface was brought up to standards of functionality. You did a great job making it a fine interface. Old timers remember how poor the old interface was.

Same, no spliting stack. My GM asked me to file a bug report, but the 'report bug' button has also mysteriously dissapeared Big smile.

And I experienced it aswell. Kinda scary that a patch that only introduced content for the character creator broke this stuff. Did someone forget to add another change in there, accidently got the change in the patch or fixed an exploit?
