HELP! Damage Notifications Missing!

Hey! Thanks for taking the time to look inside.

I have noticed that i get 0 damage notifications (as in your xyz does 123 damage to abc)

I have been to accessories > notification and log > combat settings and I have ticked every box that applies to combat settings yet I still do not see it whenever I engage in combat.

If anyone has a solution, please let me know!

I'm now stuck with this issue as well and currently unable to figure out how to fix it or how I even caused it to happen in the first place. I feel like I must've hit some kind of shortcut button or something to cause the notifications to stop showing, but I can't find anything in the shortcuts menus regarding it; I just know for a fact that I never even touched the notification settings, so that isn't what caused the messages to stop showing.

I really hope someone knows how to fix this problem, or can find that information. All my Google searches are turning up nothing. Sad

From Notifications and Log, click on Combat Settings, then Enter Moving Mode for Notifications.
Perhaps they got moved behind a window somehow.
You can also do it from the options menu next to the ship console hud in space.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

It's a big that popped up during this latest expansion, I think there is a thread about it in the issues forum.

Relogging always fixes the problem for me. It always seems to happen to me after a session change. last time was when I docked my ratting ship, undocked and went back to ratting and had no damage notifications. Seems to happen in close proximity to when I have the "black overview" bug as well, but I'm not convinced those 2 bugs are related.
