Corp Questions : Resign or what?

So finally back after a modest 6 year hiatus...time flies by!Big smile

Basically have to re-learn everything again, didnt think I actually would forget so much.

But, one of the more pressing things is that I had a corp in the old times, now there
is just three members, main character (CEO) and my two alts.
What I have started to think after reading a bit that the corp actually starts to be a liability to
my main char safety as any other company can start to wage war, even if only in griefing purposes.

So, basically I was thinking if I should resign as ceo, and let the weakest alt be solely in the corp
as a CEO, as basically, well, he is quite talentless and just a blob of mining biomass.

This way I could reliefe my main char and the other alt to exploring and trying to get up to speed, and
if one day I decide to set up a corp, I would join back in and reposition the roles.

Yay or nay?

Forgive me if the question is ********, as I said, I utterly lost atm!

It's only an issue IF and when you do get wardecced, at which point you can make the decision to quit the corp if you think it is necessary.

There are so many corps out there, and so many pilots that chances of anyone actually choosing to target you are slim.

I find it very handy to keep an alt in an NPC corp, that way if a wardec arrives I can still carry on playing whilst someone wastes 50 mil isk :-)

Solecist Project...." They refuse to play by the rules and laws of the game and use it as excuse ..." " They don't care about how you play as long as they get to play how they want."

Just leave your old corp on an alt CEO and find a group that's active in activities you like. When you get back on your feet, you can always resume control of that corp, whenever wish to give CEOship a try again.

Check my corp history. Did the same after once starting a small corp, only to leave in on an alt as I joined a more active group. That group later fell apart which saw me rebuild the original corp into something meaningfull, but I had more fun at that time by joining others, then I had aimlessly wandering New Eden without purpose.
