Until you know what you are doing. You can fit 3-4 of these for the price of a decent fit jag and you'll learn a bunch of stuff without losing a lot of isk. Even if isk isn't an issue all you are doing is giving other player easy shiney kills.

Excellent advice here, OP. your skills ARE in need of some buffing, so don't die unnecessarily in a AF until you actually learn how to fly a nasty little ship like the Rifter hull.

I had a long look at yours, wondering why people go with an armor tank when the armor resistances on it are so horribly unbalanced and the shield resistances are much nicer to work with, but the cap booster does give it an edge. Seems rather versatile and with a good eHP. You might want to swap the SAR II for the SAAR I.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

While the SAAR does give a better bursting tank I find that the SAR II tanks nicely and can tank as long as you have cap charges. It's very personal preference tbh and I often fit either.
I think the main reason people armour fit the Jag is because it then makes it like a 'Super Rifter' and most people expect it to be shield tanked. Anyway I file the Jag in the same category as the Rifter. Good ship that can do a lot of things well but is preety much beaten in each thing specialising in that area.

That is the Way, the Tao.

Balance is everything.
