Issue: memory usage goes up to 2GB over time from 900MB after having the client open for many hours(about 6 hrs). Game starts to micro freeze every time I rotate camera/open inventory. Is it just me or does anybody have this problem too?
My settings are all on highest, average 40-50fps.
My RAM is 8GB : /

Fix: restarting client.

I used to have that, especially when I used to fly all over empire. Since I retired from that business I didn't run into issues with it. Probably also because I increased by virtual memory to 9 GB(or was it 18) on top of my 6GB RAM.

I have similar issues with the same "restart client" fix, but not after hours of play. Several minutes of salvaging in a Noctis do the job for me. Other activities are fine, even for rpolonged periods of time. Well, relatively fine. Sme issues, but nowhere near to my salvaging and looting problem.

I was about to link that thread but you beat me to it. Big smile

So this is a memory leak? I have not been monitoring the memory usage maybe I should. All I know is that after running incursions for a while the client will become very laggy and slow to respond. I am able to fix this simply by quitting the game and reloading the client so to me it does look like a resource leak of some kind, otherwise why would closing the client and reloading it fix it?

Please investigate this CCP.

‘No, this isn't it at all. Make it more... psssshhhh’.
