It's highly possible this violates forum rules.

At the very least, it belongs in Crime and Punishment, not General Discussion.

ShmiTar actually I've never posted a scam... I reposted some other peoples with some mocking comments... but never an original scam. I have however spent a lot of time flaming you because you make it oh so easy... remember when you wouldn't duel me until I offered to fight your carrier in my Jaguar??? That was funny. Cus you actually jump cloned outta Rens and it was a nice break from your shenanigans.

Much love, your biggest fan.

ShmiTar,

I would first like to start off saying that Jay is not a scammer for whatever reason you think he is.
Second would you please take your local spam to Jita where it belongs

If you even have local open in a trade hub (unless you're at war and need to look for WTs) then you are doing it wrong.

There is NOTHING useful in trade hub local. People that are actually useful in Eve are not sitting in trade hubs spamming contract links for hours on end.

Will this start a "flame war"!, probably going to be the same stuff as in local Roll given the nature of Scammers and Scummers (Pro Scamming Pilots) and no i haven't been scammed before...

Why start a thread that you know will likely cause flames? Bored, trolling?

Scamming is legit (never done it before and never been caught by a scam as yet) and the few you mention is only just the tip of the iceberg. Removed their character names as I only have your word for it, plus you're not supposed to name and shame on the forums (not that there's anything to be ashamed of as scamming is a legit method of game play).

Scams are not hard to avoid, except for maybe the trading margin one if you're unaware of it. But even that you could apply, if it's to good to be true it's probably a scam.

Most people are for scams because they're easy to avoid and they're part of what makes EVE different to a lot of other MMOs.

Because people think they're going to make something out of the deal and don't think it through before falling for the scam. They may also have a tendency if they think it could be legit to rush their decision in case they miss out on it. It's not the scammers at fault (in this game) it's the person falling for the scam, the person that falls for a scam should reflect on why they fell for the scam, the answer may give them a better understanding about themselves.

It's not even about the game's learning curve.

It's more a case of those that are opposed to scamming trying to bring RL values/ideals into the game.

I always play good characters, because all my old bad characters always end up good anyway. Like so many others in RL good values and ideals are so entrenched in me that they will bleed into the game, but I am aware of that issue so I can allow for it.

In a game you don't need RL values/ideals as long as you stay in character, if you take it out of character then those RL values/ideals come back into play.

i don't see how good values are an issue, and i didn't bring anything RL into, wall st. gets away with "scamming" all the time, i want to play! and not be reminded of world problems..... and i'm not 100% RP either so i'm not sure that you even have a point....

anyways you may want to look up what rhetorical means, i mean no disrespect by saying that
