I'm looking to figure out what are the best ISK / hour activities in EVE, for solo and for small ( < 5 ) groups. I need actual data, not just a list of things to try.

Activities I need data for are:
high sec ratting
low sec ratting
0.0 ratting

N-space complexes
W-space complexes

high/low sec mining
(0.0 mining for small groups or solo is not really in the realm of feasible for what I have in mind)

L1/2/3/4 Missions

Anything else a character(s) of < 3-6 months old could do.

I know Piracy, PvP & Empire Ganking is pretty good when you can find the right place to camp or scan the right ship to suicide, but I'm after consistent income rates, aka. grinds.

Also, if you care to help me further, help me identify the ISK sinks? Anything that removes ISK from the game, and not just hand it to another player, is what I mean.

Ill try give you alittle feedback, as far as i can

#1 Security missions L4, id say pay about 20-40mil/hour, it depends alittle on what missions you get and the loot...

#2 High sec mining, i solo in a mack or a skiff, a full load of ore in my Mack, is roughly 7mil, 20-25min, skiff is alittle lower, but also dependent on day to day prices, i usually hoard my ore/minerals and wait for a peak in the prices...

#3 Exploration. Data sites, in highsec usually give you 1-2decryptors, and can also give BPCs, and alittle other goodies, each data site, aprox 5-10mil... Relic sties, still pays fairly poor in highsec, but you can get lucky salvage, and other stuff... DED sites, if you find these, they need to be done as fast as possible, alot of people look for them and plenty of reward, a few hours earlier, i managed to get eight difrent shadow and dead space modules from three DED sites i managed to get, estimated value 350-400mil for two hours... Exploration is like a box of choclates, some days you wont find anything except wormholes, and some days you get lucky

Good luck out there, people can probably be more profitable then me, but im fairly lazy and chat alot !

My job pays me 600 million isk an hour, tho i choose to keep that and instead make far less by playing eve to earn isk

1. No, I'm not asking people to do number crunching for me. I'm asking to see if anyone is willing to share what they've learned from their own experience, in order to help other new players.

2. WH Capital escalations are awesome, but not really viable for the 3-6 month old player.

3. Scamming isn't really an option here.

4. I'm aware trading is the ultimate income generator if you can manage it, bit more intensive of a task, and not quite as obviously exciting as other activities.

5. What do you think IS reasonable for a 3-6 month old char? 20m/hr? 50m/hr?

Been a long time since I was a 3-6mo. If you want some excitement, try ninja salvaging. It'll teach you a little of the skills you'll need for PVP. At the time I was doing it I was, like you a noob, making about 30 - 60mil an hr. Those days are gone now with the loot nerfs and noctis. But it may still provide a decent income for little investment. I dunno. Give it a try.

My next suggestion would be mission or incursions.

Next would be wh splunking though you're going to spend a lot of time finding a hole from hs that isn't occupied/active. It'll be very dangerous for you.

Ultimately, unless you want to focus all of your time into one activity to achieve more income, it would be better to diversify into passive income streams like PI. But you might want to get into a corporation with their own POCO's to do it to avoid the astronomical taxes in HS. Or don't and just produce P2 products for simplification. The great thing about PI is you can pretty much set your own hassle levels. Do I want to hassle with it every day or once a month?

Then there's production. Takes more effort and you have to produce/sell in timely fashions to take advantage of markets but, it can be hands off for a few days.

And you can trade relatively hassle free though it may be months before you realize any profit. Look for a product that has cyclical up's and down's. Buy when it's down....wait....sell when it's up.

Don't ban me, bro!

So you think as many others but trade can be VERRY exciting at times.

Get a job IRL and buy PLEX. Mine pays about 50 billion ISK per month (very rough estimate).

I wish conversion the other way were possible. My RL job pays about 100bil isk per month, which is the same as I can earn ingame.

Same here. There will come a point in the not so near future, where my Eve-assets will exceed my RL-assets. Though I think (and hope) that'll turn around again in 2 or 3 years.

This. Mind you, pure station trading (like a bot) is boring, but that isn't the most profitable form of trading anyway. Some smarts always exceed 0.01 isking (market manipulation, investment/speculation, smart interregional trading, etc.).
