Ive been following the PI market keenly for the last few days. Looks like buy orders are now tracking the new cost closely. There are a few items that are bucking the trend thou.

The buy order prices for Biocells, Supertensile Plastics, Synthetic Synapses and Transmitters are relatively high. The stocks for these items are pretty low so really no suprise there.

On the other hand; Genetically Enhanced Livestock, High-Tech Transmitters, Supercomputers, Transcranial Microcontrollers and Water-Cooled CPUs have a relatively low buy price. Water-Cooled CPUs have a moderate stock level and are currently being 'repriced'. There is a moderate stock level of Genetically Enhanced Livestock, High-Tech Transmitters and Transcranial Microcontrollers , and of these High-Tech Transmitter and Transcranial Microcontrollers Sell Price is slightly below cost estimates. Supercomputer stocks are low and sell price is close to cost estimates.

A lot of those items that you singled out are things that were still NPC sold after the original PI launch - CCP left the NPC sell orders on the market for 1-2 months after the launch of PI, at extremely low prices, and people stockpiled them rather then fuss with making them.

Ive highlighted the items with significant stockpiles in yellow in the spreadsheet. Expect in the case where the buy price is close to cost.

Ive added Cost 3, the cost from P1 materials, to the spreadsheet for Organic Mortar Applicators, Nano-Factory and Sterile Conduits. Ive also added Average Daily Volume (Forge Region), calculated from Historical Data released by CCP.

I update the spreadsheet every 2 hours or so, between 19:00 and 7:00 eve time; see cell B61 for the last update time.

Ive added another three worksheets. PI Exposure list all the 'end user' items on the market that are affected by PI and by how much. Product Daily Volumes is just for reference. Customs Office Gantry Effect calculates the raw material volumes with and without a daily Customs Office Gantry Volume of 155.

This is a significant chunk of work and presenting the data in such an accessible way is commendable; obviously we can debate how to extrapolate to a profit till the end of time but the clear presentation of the fundamentals is much appreciated. Thank you.

Your welcome. Im getting some traffic on the spreadsheet but very little feedback here, thank you.

Does anyone have any suggestion for the worksheets? Estimates for Customs Office Gantry volumes?

Added two more sheets. New High-Sec Tax worksheet shows the effects of doubling High Sec import and export Taxes. Customs Office Gantry worksheet attempts to calculate the payoff time for a Customs Office around a manufacturing planet, given a certain number of players using the planet for PI manufacturing.

Updated the Average Daily Volume data in the PI Costs sheet, it is now calculated from the last 30 days, instead of from the historical market data released by CCP. This should give you a better idea of how high sell order quantities are.

Thought id give everyone a heads up. Chiral Structures are going through the roof. This should have a big impact on transmitters, miniature electronics and consumer electronics. See the spreadsheet for the new costs.

Merged the PI Costs, Goo Costs and New Pos Fuel Costs worksheets into one worksheet. Also did all the required backend stuff so that New POS Fuel information should get filled in seemlessly come patch day.

Unfortunately you have missed out pmchens post on his engagement of PI taxation. But don’t worry the market echelons of GSF have missed out just. So it will be rather business as usual. The speculations cannot be nailed on spread charts yet as there are to many variables on the run for the outcome to deter a base for solid speculation.

Check back any recent post in relevance to PI and the POCO set up, but don’t expect anyone to do the work for you!

I just noticed today that Transcranial Microcontrollers are still being sold by npc at Jita. I was very surprised by this. Could it be a bug or do the developers have a really good reason to be putting a cap on some PI produced commodity prices at this late time in PI development?

edit: sorry I just thought it was an NPC, turned out it was a real person selling in an odd way which seemed designed to depress the market. So I guess that means they are a BUY!!!

Stocks are high and sell price is 20% over minimum cost, I dont think its worth buying. Supercomputers, Condensates, Supertensile Plastics and Oxides have a lower stock and are selling under cost, they may be worth repricing.

Might want to recheck your tax values there, chief. The percentages doubled, but the base values those percentages modify have gone WAY up.

See this wiki entry: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/CustomsOffice

Tax % is taken off the material's taxable value.
This value is set by CCP and is based off the market values in November 2011
Import is always half of export tax

The taxable value are the same for all items in the same tier
