Experienceing the same issue. My glitches seem to pretty consistent though. I am getting so accustomed to it now so that I can pretty well identify some objects just from the glitched icon. I think I will miss it when it is fixed..

BTW I havent seen anyone report this, but my glitches show not just pixels and wierd textures, but, depending on the item, I will get pictures of planets (for some celestial objects) or icons from around my computer (like the mumble headset, or the firefox logo). My personal favorite is what I like to call the vampire dev. He wears the hooded robe and hangs from the ceiling with his nose just peeping under the top of the frame.

Thanks for all the hard work, and cheers!

Thought I'd managed to dodge this one, but it now seems like I've got a handful of corrupted ship icons as well (rendered in a nice shade of "puke").

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Any news on this yet... this is becoming increasingly annoying. The issue has now played a part in me losing a ship. I am frustrated by the lack of any forthcoming information.... although this has been exacerbated by the loss of my ship naturally.

Come on guys, just a word or two to tell us what's going on please.

Yeah, this is a continuing problem for me on my Macbook Air [Mid 2011]

All of my ship and drone icons are corrupted. They appear to be created from uninitialized memory. I see various bits and piece of my OS X Dock, game display chunks, etc. Kind of messy.

I have gone through two tickets now and have received no indication of a estimated time of a fix. The last response on the 29th was:
Quote:

...This is currently a known issue on OS X. Although it is high priority to get fixed, I am afraid we currently do not have an estimated date for it to be fixed, nor do we have a workaround for it in the meantime. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Best Regards,
GM Smiley

They also told me to clear the cache (to no avail) and run the client repair tool (the link was a .exe). There is a repair tool for Mac on the forums somewhere, but it is from 2012 and did not work. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what they come up with.

It's worse when there is an issue and you get no reply back for weeks. I personally find Mac support quite slow. Especially when there is common issues. Sad

Adding to the quorum

MBP13'' Early 2011 (8,1)
2,3Ghz Intel Core i5
16 GB 1333MHz DD3
Intel HD Graphics 3000 (512Mb)

Internal display and external (via minidp>vga adapter) both have problems.

I work as a developer, so I have mine running 10.9 (build 13A510d)

Since i'm running a devel preview version, I do not consider this a "bug", but more of a "head's up guys, this won't work in the next version".

From what i could gather, this seems to be a bad interaction between texture memory from the transmeta engine and the OS?
The graphic glitches are consistent, but sometimes change around, and all seem to be pieces of image or somehow twister textures rendered wrongly.

Good luck, and also waiting for a patch. If you need anything tested on 10.9 on this hardware, let me know via PM/mail.
