Freighter cargo value in high sec

What's the most isk value you should carry in a freighter to limit the chances of being suicide ganked in high sec?

At what point do suicide gankers start to turn a profit?

Really depends on the gankers, there are frieghters out there that gets ganked with 1b cargo.

Put it in a container then courier contract it to your freighter pilot (aka double wrap) problem solved.

As a general rule I have heard no more tham 2bil ISK. But that was before all the recent inflation. The main this is DONT AUTOPILOT.

So a courier contract can be seen into by ship scanners, and a container can be seen into by ship scanners, but if you put the two together then it cannot be scanned?

How likely is it that the gankers will just gamble if it's wrapped up like this and do it anyway?

Nothing obtained in High Sec justifies a Freighter. The freighter was designed to carry capital parts.

Currently, Red Frog Freight, one of the largest hisec freight services, won't accept any contract with a collateral value of over 1 billion ISK.

simple solution freighters align slow right, get a corpy in a t1 frig, with webs follow your freighter everytime it jumps web it so it aligns faster,

this will decrease the chances of it getting ganked,

Depends what ships they are using, how many of them etc etc. Generally if the freighter is worth more isk than their fleet, they are likely to shoot. If its not worth more there is no point in shooting it so you will most likely be left alone.

And here I was autopiloting through Niarja many times with 6+ bil in a freighter thinking it wasn't enough to draw attention to myself >_>
