Hey awesome tool. I have a problem though. I used to use this tool a while back, and then switched to a different one. I would like to use Eve-Profit again, but I cannot remember my password. I use the forgot password option, and the site says that it is emailing me a reset, but then there is nothing in my mail. Besides just creating a new email and new E-Profit account, is there any way you can help me with this problem?

I tried to create a new Eve-Profit account with a new Email, but no go. I got this message after the pilot selection:

I am interested in trying this out but after signing up I have yet to receive an email and can't log in.
Any help would be appreciated!

Agreed, a sorting button would be very helpful. Oh, and I like this much better than Eve Mogul btw. Very effective, more data, API pull is instant. Awesome service, thank you :).


Which section are you referring to? Most-profitable Sell is sortable by clicking on the headers, do you mean another section if so which?

If you find any issues please let me know right away, if you want any features and let me know so I can put them into the increasingly long list of features and bugs I wish to fix. I'm open to design optimizations as well.

The database was not opened to the public(I took the public source code and moved it to my own server) so I do not have anyones old accounts. You should not have to create a new email for this. Will continue this with you over eve-mail since you mailed me.

Check your junk mail, if there still isn't any mail being sent out mail me your username and just your username.

Thanks alot for your work on this. This is a great tool, and only tool I found that can merge characters

The only issue I have come across, is that the fist-in first-out approach can lead to misleading profits in cases where i.e. a courier contract fails, or you buy items for an alt.

In these cases the items are bought, but never sold, and next time you trade these items, it will use the price of the lost items.

Is there a way, or any plans of a way, to mark transactions to be ignored/deleted? Or any other work around for this?

Somehow I cannot login to my favourite maket site anymore. Sad The login screen just keeps loading and eventually times out.

Anybody else has this problem, too?

The site often has it's problems but usually comes back to full functional in a day. Great tool!

Bloody hell I thought I answered this. This I wouldn't imagine would be difficult to add the option of "Ignore these transactions" where it just sets those transactiosn values to 0. So yes, this would be a feature I would like to add in the future as one day I do also want an industry section to this for tracking profits from manufacturing/invention for my own use.

For some reason the server had all error reporting turned off. Just noticed this as I was working on a little side project of mine. If you guys notice any errors coming up please EVE-mail me the exact error you are getting. I just went through briefly and didn't spot any obvious errors.

Any changes I have made to the source code can be easily implemented and I have provided information in this thread about what I had changed. The most significant changes that aren't 'easily' implemented would be me changing the way passwords were encrypted(still securely, just different from how original coder did it) and the API calls which for whatever reason the original coder wrote his own function for when a single PHP line got the same job done and required no further code changes.

Server is down at the moment, waiting on a reply from host as to what is causing this downtime.


Update - Everything is resolved, they just fed me some generic response about investigating it and that it would be resolved soon(tm)

Update - And I'm getting downtime again from several users.

Update - And we're back. They had to reset it through their end since i couldn't do it myself.

I am unable to login It never goes into my account no error or anything its like lag that never ends, but when I jump between the feature page and the home page its fast

I've noticed a slow down recently. But I still get in.

I've been using this for a while now, it's pretty cool, and I appreciate you making it available.

I have a few comments/requests though.

My main problem in using it is that I do manufacturing and PI as well as trading, and it obscures my trading profit data. I use corporate wallets for buying and selling for these other activities, and then try and filter for personal transactions. This gives me just trading sales and purchases, but the profit is(i think) still based on the FIFO using ALL purchases including corp purchases for materials etc. I trade in some of the items I buy for production and PI, so it can affect the profit figures that are coming out.

If there was an option to restrict the calculations of profit to be based on the transactions in the same wallet, that would work. Or alternative to be able to ignore corp or personal wallet transactions altogether (achieving the same thing). At the moment it seems the only option i have is to use another char to do the purchases for my other activities, but that isn't ideal because his standings are lower so broker fees will be higher, and i would have to do a lot more logging in and out than i do now.

Another minor point, probably aware of it already but the skill training info doesn't show a skill name for me, just the level it is being trained to.

This issue has been sorted out, I have had one seperate instance it was reported and I do know the reason behind it, however I cannot replicate it at this time.

This issue is related to cookies stored on the server, but since I cannot replicate this it is hard to properly make a resolution other than clearing cookies on the server, I haven't had a chance to have cookies cleared client side.

I'll throw the idea for wallet division based profit tracking into my todo file since it would be a pleasant thing to add, if this is at all possible with the EVE API. I am not very familiar with the API and it's limitations so I can't say if wallet divisions can be viewed through there.

I didn't realize anyone even used that skill training thing. I'll take note of that, I'm sure that's just a few words being changed in the code, or knowing my luck an entire function I need to replace.



I have implemented a change onto the live version of the site. If you have logged in and didn't log out you should now be brought right to the overview page, the portion of code I changed seems like it was being used for something else but I could not see any impact when I made this change.

If there are any issues at all getting into your account do not hesitate to eve-mail me, I will be watching over my mail throughout this weekend and less so during the week day.
