Mining is a an activity that is beyond boring, and on top of that it has to be the least interactive thing imaginable.
Am I the only person who sees this as a problem?
They made a minigame for hacking which is really nice and interactive.
In mining you literally just sit there, a lot of the mining deaths are from sheerly being alt tabbed or afk, why not make a minigame that's interactive and gives bonuses to mining like -5 s activation time or +5% yield.

As a new player mining was a major let down and it has got to be literally the most mind numbing task you can set forth in this game, even gate jumping is more interactive.

Why hasn't this issue been addressed at all or at least even slightly improved after 17 expansions?

ADD THE HACKING MINIGAME TO IT !!!!!!@!!!!

Quick, someone get the OP a New Order representative to emerge his game play!
