[WHIST] Insurance contract offer.

Greetings.

For a few months now, the good people of the Amarr Empire have been terrorized in the constellation of Fua, its belts still occupied by pirate ships of the Sansha's Nation. The faux utopia of the Nation has recently even started sending their agents into the systems to recruit clones soldiers to fight for their cause. I have to commend CONCORD for spotting those as an immediate target that has to be dealt with. At least they do one good deed every 100 years or so.

But let's get to the point.

As of late, this has probably been the cause of a number of wrecks of capsuleer Orca class Industrial command ships and Mackinaw class Exhumer ships in systems of Ealur and Fahruni, two highsec systems in the Fua constellation, which somehow escalated quickly over the past few months.

In order to show its benevolent side and help the downtrodden people of Fua, Stillwater Corporation and its cohorts has decided to make some business offers regarding insurance offers, in the hope of making them understand Angel Cartel is a lesser evil than the united forces of Sansha's Nation and Blood Raiders.

I understand your firsthand skepticism. But I'm sure further contemplation will make you understand.

As most of you don't have much, if any assets in Fua, I won't waste anyone's time furthermore; for details regarding the insurance contracts, contact Leopold Caine via mail.

So you've been shooting down Orcas and Exhumers in the area, and then blame it on Sansha's Nation? Even for you, that's cheap. A simple cursory check of public combat data for the area shows that you, not Nation, are the pirates of note. As much as I hate Nation, I dislike liars even more.

You should be wholly ashamed of yourself.

In case you're wondering how I magically know this information despite your best efforts to cover it up... you should realize that when you destroy somebody's ship, they tend to come back to station and tell others what happened to their missing vessel. You can try to cover your tracks digitally, but you cannot silence the victims.

You can't really even cover your tracks digitally either, because those victims get their own automated copies of the blue-chip combat records.

Which can then be shared directly between capsuleers, or posted publicly. Anywhere.

I'm sorry, but I'm not too fond of telltale stationside gossip. It's especially tedious with most capsuleers, no offense to anyone.
I hoped you'd have enough business professionalism to do the same, so I suppose I'm rather disappointed.

In any case, the point of this announcement is to provide a business offer to those in need, not to play some kind of a cheap who-dun-it drama. If you don't like the offer, well, too bad; ignore it, as simple as that. I'll likewise refrain from commenting on any empty accusations like that as I refuse to be dragged in the above mentioned drama scenario.

Kindest regards.

The public records are viewable by anybody. That ISD forbids the posting of them here in this forum does not make them non-existent. If Sansha's nation had been the one to destroy those ships, why are there records of you being involved at all? If you recall, no combat records of the sort are ever produced for losing a ship to non-capsuleers, much less verified by CONCORD as valid. What motivation would the pilots have to fake it? Are you being framed? Is the big bad CONCORD getting you down?

I'm also well aware that I have the option to ignore your thread, but I feel better pointing out your blatant lies about who is truly responsible for the destruction of those mining vessels. You're a pirate. I fight piracy for a living, and that does indeed include screwing up your attempts at fooling the innocent. So yes, I'm going to destroy any credibility of your OP by addressing it.

You claim to be offering insurance against destruction by Toasters and Blooders, when it is in fact you who's doing all that dirty work. There's a word for this... it's called racketeering. You're attempting to run a protection racket, and I'm here to point out the obvious.

EDIT: Last year you were screaming and whining about how you are so definitely not Angels. I guess now that you've gone public you need to find something new to fail at lying about?

Thank you, Cain, for providing an example of how to not go about a criminal career. Lying only really works if it's successful, as does misleading. When all of New Eden is already pointing and laughing, it's a bit too late.

That's what I meant, yes. Victims dock back up, post their lossmails, and call it a bad day. Whether or not Stillwater suddenly has a suspiciously empty combat record since the beginning of time - despite publicly posting information from it in the past... the victims have their own records with Caine's name on them.

I thought Angels were meant to be 'good' at this kind of thing.

I won't waste time trying to disparage the Dominations and their minions as a whole, we all know their erstwhile capsuleer 'representatives' will put on that show for us, but trying to use two of the most reviled (from the blinkered perspective of the lowest common elements to blight this forum) organisations in the cluster to raise your own profile should raise more red flags than a Khumak at an Emperor Family Academy frat party.

You can 'trust', me. I'm not those people your media REALLY demonizes!

Let's get real though. This is your run of the mill attention grab. No bottom feeding, rock chewing ingrate with more money than balls, and less sense, is going to stumble across your hastily shat out fallacy. So... mission success I guess?

Good game Caine, well played.

There was a reason that I respected Naraka, even after I left, and yet can't say the same for Stillwater...

Now what was it...

Oh yes. They were competent.

Dropping in with a clarification: it is forbidden to post kill reports as they inevitably lead to non-productive discussion, but that does not invalidate their existence. That said, kill reports seldom tell the full tale, and can be easily falsified, so take that as you may.

((OOC: Kills and kill records are a thing that capsuleers are quite familiar with, but 'killboards' in a metagame context don't exist in canon. Feel free to refer to 'kill records'. For more info on what is or isn't in-character knowledge, check out my guide on it.

I am also snipping out the out-of-character comments from above posts.))

Actually, the insurance contracts revenue rose by some 20% in the last day to 1.5 billions per month insurance revenue total, given that I gave our potential business partners the idea that there's an official recognition no one else is coming to give them an alternative offer. Or in Caldari speak, that Stillwater has monopoly over Fua.
So, all I can say is...

Thank you.

Will see you around later.
Kindest regards.
