How about anyone that posts up a thread asking for captcha to be added to this game, gets a forum ban. 24 hours for the first offense. 48 for the second. perma for the third.

hi

get rid of all trandig bots very easily

if you wanna make or change an order - a CAPTCHA of 2-3 letters appears and you can make/change orders for a period of time (maybe 30min). After that a new captcha appears. One second more work in 30min and ccp can save a lot of money pay people to hunting bots und all traders are free of bots...

Captcha's blow donkey ****.

Easier solution ban the bots and accounts tied to them.

As a market pvper, I'll just say this... NO. I adjust a lot of orders every day... by hand. And to "non market pvpers", it probably does look like a bot because there are so many of us adjusting orders all the time. It's what market pvpers do. The last thing we need is a captcha popping up 100 times in a half hour just because what we do "appears" to look like a bot.

And as to the comment that they should restrict to "Only 2 updates per order per 24 hours" ... umm... no. If we're gonna go there, then let's just apply that across the board: "If you fit your pvp ship with one configuration and undock, you can't change it again for 12 hours". Doesn't work so well when you try to apply that logic to other parts of the game. Sometimes our market "pvp" configuration doesn't work out the way we want because other players move their orders in a direction that was unexpected, so we react and move an order in a way that prevents a fill. And if you've ever accidentally put in a $400m buy order with an extra zero added by accident, believe me, you don't want to wait 12 hours hoping that a 3.6 billion isk loss doesn't materialize! (and it will).

one little captcha per hour or 30min... what a big work...

What about people with bad eyesight? What sort of sadistic creature would want to subject people on a regular basis that they can't pass?

in jita are max. 2-3k people, than jita is closed- but bots are illegal -- this is not a thread about "should be bots legal or not". Now they are illegal - so bots should not be in the game by ccp - this is a suggestion to disable the bots. Btw I trade in Jita since 2009 very sucessfull, so i need no proposal how to trade - I have learned to use the bots to make isk - but this is not part of that thread...

CCP is crafting a EULA to offer illegals amnesty if they've already been in Jita for 2 years. But they won't be able to vote in CSM or get any gifts.

Don't ban me, bro!
