Ok we talked a little bit online and here is where we are thinking. Fuel Pizza in Davidson NC.

Raleigh to Davidson 150 miles
Asheville to Davidson 126 miles
Winston to Davidson 64 miles
Charlotte to Davidson 22 miles

I figure we can rotate closer to each others cities on a per gathering basis.

Now the question is timing.

I recommend something in November gives everyone time to adjust there schedules and before T'day

It is a bit further for everyone but they have long bench tables and give tours of there little craft brew operations.

Just a thought.

Obviously 21 and up.

First good on you for pulling the trigger and throwing something out there, second for me, being in Jacksonville, either place is a long drive but they both look great. There is veterans day in Nov, I know personally it would make the drive easier and I dont think people would have as many family obligations as other times. Just a thought. Again good job on getting the ball rolling.

That first weekend in November or the very last going into December work best for me.

lowryder, I think the locations mentioned were partly due to some in-game conversations on the North Carolina Eve channel (thanks for setting that up, Onyx Asablot) in which no one recalled having heard much response from anyone out on/near the coast. If I can make it, I'll be coming from Asheville; is there someplace that would perhaps be a better midpoint? Greensboro? Don't want to make the travel difficult for anyone, but there are about 400 driving miles between you and Benjamin Aurilen in Cashiers.

Given that we're so spread out, would it work better to decide on a date first, see who all can make it, and then try to find a good central location?

I am leaning towards Old Mecklenburg Brewery. On the 1st Saturday of November. I am going to see if there side room is available Noon would be my preferred time. Please post if you are under 21 or a brewery is an issue.

Ok, here is what we are doing and the time and the place.

It is not far off of 77 about 20 minutes north of Charlotte.
I have talked to the manager and he can set aside space for us.

They do have Beer and pizza either by the slice or we can get some pies.

They also have wifi if needed.

Time and date of 12:00 on November 2nd.

I do ask that you let me know if you are coming. Just for planning.

You can either email me in game Doretta Ormand or post on the board

Hope this works for most people.

Well, crap. I find this today after i signed up yesterday for over time on the second. I live in Mooresville, 15 minutes away.

Edit: canceled OT, now all i need is a kitchen pass from the wife.
