CCP: One Day A Year .......

Can we have ONE day where there is no law(no concord) in the entirety of EVE ? Effectively 0.0 everywhere ?

Sorry if this has been suggested before. I just think it might be fun.

There is no way it could end well. It doesn't make any sense from an in-universe perspective and would propably cause a huge amount of petitions from people who are quite justly angry about a sudden change in normal rules of gameplay. Besides that we all know you're just looking to get a ton of free juicy kills at the expense of others. It's understandable to want it, but it doesn't make any sense for CCP to cater to that wish.

If you want 0.0 go to 0.0. If you don't, you probably just won't log in/undock on no-sec day. Don't see how this idea would be viable.

CCP did this once upon a time. The main issue with doing it again IIRC is they would have to take the servers down a few days at both ends to switch up the sec of each system. Most people don't want to give up those few days of SP.

You should have went to the luminaires titan kill event. Pretty much a 1 system suspect fest. Was funny when people started going criminal cause they turned off the safeties and there was a lag between suspect ending and being reapplied =).

Ah I see If it mean taking the servers down then deffo no no.

Thinking about it I like the idea of dynamic sec status so potentially say you could have sec status where say it should be by rights 0.5(it true status or w/e) however depending on [insert/factor/reason] that sec status could drift to to either 0.6 or 0.4 depending on whatever reason.

Then you could actually put some decent roids/mission stuff in 0.5 for example but miners/missioners would have to be aware of their surroundings.


I imagine this could be a programming nightmare though.

P.S. didn't realise CCP used to do the lawless eve thing

CCP used to do this on april fools day and it was fun. Dunno why they stopped. Too much meta gaming I'd guess.
