Looking for a way to find, and buy, the Gallente Megathron model that was released ages ago but no longer made. I am sad that CCP gave up on selling models for their ships, they are fantastic to look at, and wish they had continued offering models to the players over the years.

So there it is, the question, anyone got a Gallente Megathron model for sale? Where can I buy one?

That model is still available in the store, get in your tardis and hurry up.

The in game 3d model was updated a while back.

Perhaps in the future we will see updated models available.
Perhaps Even Faction Variants.

The USB Rifter with the Eve Collector's Edition could be the start of that.

My cat knocked my Megathron model off of my shelf and shattered it.... Needless to say I was very pissed...

I got a tempest model that I won from a contest some years ago that's just sitting on my desk. Thing is I have never flown a tempest. Ever. Not one time.

When you are delivering them, some **** is going to try to blow up your car just for the lolz though

I wonder why so little people are keeping up with the times, i was beginning to fear i was the only one aware of this technology :P

I am actually hard at work, building a Fenrir PC case, a job that will be finished some time in the far away future :P

It will be close to 60 Euro's, depending on the type of material used ( sturdy stuff will be required for the inner parts holding the motherboard and stuff ).
If you want to paint it afterwards, that's another 20 Euro's ( i think, never painted anything i 3d printed, certainly nothing of that size ).
The amount of time spent breaking the model up into separate parts, which need to be screwed together ( case does need to be able to open and such ) and the amount of effort put into designing the internal attachments, is quite staggering.

I think the 100+ CCP charges isn't really that high, although those of course don't make very good pc cases :P

shortly before they closed the store last year or whenever it was they were offloading models dirt cheap, i bought one of the mega's and it costed like $30 bucks, not a bad score even if the model is outdated, its still close enough, and its like a throwback to the old days for me. yay oldschool vindi that i had and lost!

I wish they did release more ships again, more variety too, but i can only imagine how much it costs to make them. i wonder how much it would cost them to procure the moulds of commonly used ships and have the models then made on demand, instead of just building x amount of a few hulls and hoping ppl buy them.
