He probably meant / not *, logically the effect of boosts would diminish as the ship struggles to affect more and more ships.

There's always been something cheesy and lame about off grid boosts, particularly with unscannable t3 boost ships.

Maybe off grid boosts should be half as effective as on grid boosts, at least. On grid should be fully effective. Possible?

While I understand the "why give the bigger fleet even more of an advantage", it is the only way to give "fleet warfare" groups boosts potent enough to enhance large fleets in a meaningful manner while still limiting the overwhelming and flat out broken level of boosts currently given to "small gang" and lol-solo PvP.

*edit* The algorithm I suggested means there is a large disparity between 50 vs 100. But there is barely a noticeable effect in 50 vs 60, or in 5 vs 10.

Personally, I see this as a compromise to keep fleet boosters potent for Sov related stuff. The other viable option that I consider reasonable is simply to nerf all off grid booster to about 20% (or less) of their current levels. If, and only if, boosters become an on-grid-only phenomena, then I'd support having boosters on par with current levels.

OGB's, or even just outside of POS boosters, are destroying small gang and solo PvP.
