Last night I went to VFK and as soon as I jumped in I noticed a reaper. Naturally I killed it. Normally I would check pilot info to make sure it isn't somebody I wouldn't want to kill but I killed that Reaper so quick I didn't know I killed it!

Naturally I investigated its contents to see what it had been eating. I noticed a strange thing. It had a collection of 3 civilian miners in it!!

This brings up an interesting question: is it true the Goons are mining to pay the rent? That particular Reaper (and you can look up my kill on zkillboard to confirm) with 3 civilian miners, combined with the rumor of Goons mining to pay rent, really makes a guy wonder.

I checked the pilot info and another surprise! The Goon was only a day old!

There are definitely some changes being made with the Goons. I will stay tuned to see what happens next.

There seriously are rumors of Goons mining to pay for stuff.

Just like there are rumors Local is going to be removed.

Both carry enough weight to really wonder.

...ok I don't know if it's real anymore. Might have to consult a drink for that, because I'm currently at a loss of words.

Maybe we should ping for leaving one of them alone. Have them fire away at the VFK services and measure just how long would it take.

Though if it IS real, it sounds like they're having fun. Maybe that's what we should do in the war, you know - jump into T1s and go shoot an invulnerable station in hostile system?

(Or it's some elaborate ruse and one day they'll fit a cyno and when people get used to them, drop a metric ton of supers in an attempt to headshot VFK...)

nobody stands in my way when i want to fight some goons, that russian guy just was lucky because of superior tech and skilltime... for now... we need to burn down that place as well to set foot into null sec and bring our logistic there, access and free mining for all carebears!

So far with the condor I received for the war effort, I have killed one Goon and been killed by another guy: NegativeTimmy - noticed he's a busy lil beaver. I tried to warn Harry but apparently ran right into same bubble as I did.

May have to hunt Timmy down just for fun.

You dooooo realize you're not fighting goons though, right.

I mean, you got killed in Cloud Ring and Pure Blind. Goons live in Deklein. You also got killed by Executive Outcomes alliance and a random russian, not goons. Oh and most goons/fellow CFC people are in B-D nowadays, there's a war going and all that.

Still, keep going, or, whatever the hell you're doing...

I killed Julep Mayer in his reaper in Deklein - in VFK. He's a Goon and it was in Goon space.

Apparently so. I asked in Help chat and everybody said it is true as well. No wonder Goons fly around in reapers with multiple civilian miners.

great idea :D we are all into training stealth bombers already, come with us and we bring real pain to their place :D

I will put another topic up shortly maybe in crime and punishment, we somehow need to get rid of that bubble plague as well in order for us to move freely into goonspace

Stealth bombers are good. If you know someone with a blackops and a covert cyno, you can move about very easily. Even more if your covert cyno is on a covert ops interdiction nullified T3 for the ultimate freedom.

3 carebears did fleet up in our wargear approaching VFK, one was cought in a bubble, however only seconds after that, my frozen corps was still able to remember the location and put a warning to the BubbleTrouble mailing list!
