You know, i really hate this kind of reply. It seems a lot of goonies think harry and everyone else following him are noobs who don't know anything about this game or are carebear who never left empire because they feared too much of losing their 17b faction fit BS.

I did think about it, even though it is tedious to start with.

The major downside resides in our currently very limited logistics & supply line. Ammo is limited and the next systems to easily re-stock are a dozen jumps away. If that weren't the case I'd certainly throw around more bombs.

Rats take a good many more hits to take down than the usual "war targets" we get. Refitting for tank & salvage would ruin the current fitting, and once again, we cannot easily dock and refit anywhere.

Logistics is really one of the more frustrating aspects of the operation, as the cure is relatively simple: More bears.

But, well, some people seem very eager to join but are still training for the minimum cloaking requirements.
Once that is accomplished, we can tackle that problem... Hard to fly a crane and a SB at the same time.

Nobody is angry at anything. We don't even hate the goons.


As for an alliance, fighting a large power with another large power does not fit in the paradigms of asymmetric warfare. Thus the moment a large alliance is built, it will be decced, and it becomes the same old story.

The "alliance" already exists anyway. It has thousands of pilots, many stations, countless production slots, and as much ISK as all of the tech moons in nullsec.

That alliance is called "highsec".


I could wax poetic on this topic and bang out a description of the endeavor that even Joepopo has a chance of understanding, but my truck needs a new clutch master cylinder at the moment.

Not "angry" and "hate" in a literal sense. More of an "angry" in an EVE-Revenge context. Had the goons not struck a nerve, they wouldn't be first on the list. That nerve doesn't have to be literally can't-sleep-at-night and think-about-it-at-your-job emotional, but it looks a lot to me like "Yeah! **** those guys! Let's make a statement!" more than "these guys threaten our way of life so let's get them" that creates null bloc wars.

You know, like moon goo magically moving around creates a situation like fountain.

This case seems like an excuse to go punt goons because goons do stuff that makes your lives inconvenient. That's an emotional context. You know what you're doing won't STOP them from passing out free burn jita 2.0 fleets (or hey, burn jita 3.0!) to anyone that wants them for teh lulz. You know you're spending resources for something that can't possibly end in gain of any sort other than emotional.

Again, this isn't a BAD thing.

****, embrace it. Goons are only sucessful because
A: there are a fuckton of them
B: they have an extreme nationalistic pride that transcends rationality

This movement has the potential of capturing both of those qualities from the opposite end of the spectrum.

Don't DENY that your'e all pissed and want revenge. Embrace it. Shout it from the hills. Make it a rallying cry. That's what's getting your pilots out of empire in the first place and that's what's going to pull more. That's what's going to convince the guy with the 10 box 23/7 hisec starship production operation to donate or discount some hardware.

Success is a measure of meeting goals. First, you gotta have goals. If the goal is REVENGE then you succeed with every single thing you blow up.

IMO that's just the law of averages at work, and it only works because of the wholehearted willingness of the proles to tow your party line and do whatever **** job needs done without complaint for the good of your nation.

I doubt there's a higher per capita of smart people good at spreadsheets and math in goons than anywhere else.

There was a time when I'd have said your intelligence agency was a cut above, but honestly, serious spying is dead in EVE because you succeeded yourselves right out of work.

we are now officially against TEST as well... just was in VFK and had a 5 goon killstreak when a test fleet showed up... as I did have a bubble in cargo I told them they should fleet me up and I can place it infront of the station, they did, however as soon as I uncloaked they dropped the fleet and engaged, my ship was able to escape however

this is so rediculous, they prefer to shoot down one catalyst instead of having a bubble infront of mittanigrad, it would have been perfect, ca 10-20 ships all sieged up... those people... I honestly think the space vacuum does no good to their brains
