Sounds interesting. I have a couple of other friends in their 40's (along with me) that play after we get the kids in bed. I'm lucky, mine are out of diapers, but as you know the real expenses begin then. Work is very busy, 14 hour days are not uncommon, so I get on when I can.

This is my combat toon, I have 24M sp, only short the carrier skill to fly them. I have two other accounts and characters, one an empire alt that makes profits from a T2 BPO, and a 0.0 jack of all trades with 37M sp that can mine ore or shoot someone without remorse with 1400mm artillery.

I've lived in several 0.0 corps, with the big downside being most were European TZ. So you can imagine how that worked out being one of three players on vs. the German Hordes on Christmas Day (incidentally, I have never forgiven those guys for that).

Anyway, two of us recently returned to EVE and were running missions while we look for the right 0.0 corp.

We've done just about everything except fly capitals. My buddy has three freighters. Gate camping and crashing, webbing, podding, POS's, 0.0 manufacturing and mining. We got it down.

We'll start checking you guys out.

Hello there.

Installing EVE after a long hiatus because of..that.. baby thing.. you know how it is. I'll look you up as soon as I get in game. You seem to be just what I need. Hopefully you can find a spot for me as well :)
30+, 1 screaming 2 year-old and a pretty loud wife so gaming is erratic. Most other corps don't fit my bill.

Yes. I am a newbie.

I joined a month or so ago and my first corp. The descriptions were accurate and it has been a blast!

Despite the casual atmosphere I do think it is worth mentioning that there are also many very experienced players in corp from the early days of the game. That translated into a steep learning curve for me! Everyone was eager to help a newbro learn the ropes.

Say hello......join chat and see for yourself.

We are spread out across lots of time zones. Fairly heavy Brit activity but also a good number of US players as well. Like me in Fl.

I found this corp from this thread.....and glad I did.

Hey All,

We are still recruiting for like minded people, do not regret my choice with this corp from a new players point of view. The corp as a whole was very welcoming and friendly and I can see me being here for the rest of my eve life :D. Come one and all looking for a no drama corp where everyone's choice of how they play eve is catered for.

You won't regret joining 30+ :) I know I have not

Having spent 18 months and 31mil SP in a rookie corp, I have started looking for a new experience in EVE. Being old (42) and working strange hours (contracting systems engineer) has made me shy away from most 0.0 corps as I would not be able to attend specific mandatory events and have little patience for kill kill emorage game play they espouse
Mainly focusing on mining, scanning, missions (bored of lvl 4's now) and some industry, I have reached the edge of what can be done solo, so I would like to branch out a bit, and learn a whole lot more.

I saw this thread and at first glance like what I see. I appreciate the more realistic approach to managing real life and our collective addiction.
