No, probably not. It never is.

Traffic control is telling me I need to wait another 180 seconds before I can post in this thread.

No changes have been maSadde to TiDi; you are probably experiencing another issue, logging we added just before Odyssey that CCP Veritas and CCP QC are actively working on optimizing.
So, can't CCP just remove that and get it to work properly before readding it?

I think it would be better if they actually wrote the game from scratch and fix all the known issues while doing so.

Eventually this HAS to be done, CCP knows it too. It's just a matter of time, and I hope it sooner then waiting until the game is no longer playable.

Yes, I know what a large task that is. Just stop being lazy already!

I think we'll let you explain to the rest of the player base why there won't be any updates for the next few years while everyone at CCP is busy reinventing the wheel. Smile

What's wrong with fixing up all the backend code?
They don't need to do the WHOLE game, just the code. Thus only using a certain group of people, and not the entire staff of CCP. Mainly the programmers!

Remember Mobile Starbases?
Remember why the idea was dropped?
Oh yeah, cos POS code was heavily tied in with NPC AI and it was literally "too hard" to fix, thus that idea was dropped.

And besides, IF CCP said that they weren't doing a MAJOR Summer expansion (for example) because they're fixing the code, (remember that the rest of the game doesn't need to be touched, just the code.) I strongly believe that the majority of the playerbase would be happy with that idea!

*goes over to bookshelf, grabs the original boxset for EVE Online, goes to "Credits" portion of the Manual and counts the amount of Original people that made and wrote EVE Online.*
Yeah, took 52 People to do EVE Online from scratch. (That includes Marketing/PR/Testers/Manual/Testers/1 guy for a chef!) I'm JUST talking about code here!

And yes, I do have the orignal boxset!
