Command ships and ongrid boosting limits

I've got an idea how to implement ongrid limit to the game without loading the hardware too much. I don't know how your code looks like, so this is based just on my vision of how it should be.

When the ship gets boosting role or changes state of boosting modules, it generates a kind of event for all ships its boost should be applied to - I believe you already calculate that for different purposes. The event contains just the boost itself and its kind (fleet/wing/squad). When the ship leaves grid, it can drop the boost itself - if its booster is no longer visible on overview or watchlist, it can't boost. Same with leaving fleet, etc.
When the new ships enters grid, the boosting ship should detect that (well, a kind of watchlist mechanics would be the best) and generate event for it.

I'm a strong opponent of ongrid limits to fleet boosting as a rorqual pilot, but I want the CS rebalance to be done.

Here's what I proposed to keep the Rorqual in play. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=248879&find=unread

Well, that can be a solution. Replied there.

One of the ideas can be read in thread about survey scanners - grav sites being only scannable with survey scanner (or covops/exploration frig). Not the best one, though...

The topic was mostly directed to CCP and those responsible for development of command ships.
