I have to agree with this pilot. The purpose in buy time to play EVE. Is to play EVE. Everything evolves around time in EVE. And it just happens that the weekend is my best time to play.

Compensation for the time lost is the least EVE can do for it pilots. Everyone acts like its a gift when 50k in skill points are given out. When in reality if you make 500 to 600 mil in a day/night. You just lost out on the possibility to buy a plex. That may have allowed you to continue your alt for another 30 days.

If I were given the choice between 50k in skill points or a plex. Give me the plex.


Or you can just get your 500 / 600 Mil a Day/Night when the Servers get back on and stop asking for free ****. Get over it, or move along. Do you seriously expect CCP to give each person a different amount of Money varying from Skill Points, which Ships and modules they can fly, and how effective their character could be? As much as I disagree with anything given for downtime, SP's is the best way to be fair on everyone. I'd rather CCP be working on the game rather than putting effort into your wanting.

I'm okay with the downtime as it's part of running a mass server. I do like the bonus Sill Points that have been passed along so far and I think it's a great idea when players have lost Skill Training time when Skill Queues end while the server is offline. A bonus of ISK, a nominal amount, would be a nice touch as well due to the unscheduled downtime as many players would have normally spent Real Life time making some if they were online playing. Food for thought Idea

You talk of hiking, going out to get eats & drinks an such but do you really know what it's like for us that can't do these things due to debilitates that only have the tv or putter games to get through ? My thanks to CCP for getting things sorted out BUT down time sucks after a day of therapy, Doctors an bed .Have some heart for the guys that put the time in to TRY an keep things running ..

True, they said they restart the servers every day to avoid such issues, and this month, it had been non-stop issues.

Not a huge deal, really. I got other games to play, but still.

Keep up the good work CCP Blink I'm sure it isn't easy to maintain something that has never been done before. (Dust and EVE in the same universe) Nevermind all of the complainers out there... Just keep doing what you do and I'm confident that you will have all of the bugs worked out soon... Cheers everyone!
