Hello all!

I would like to introduce my newest tool - Loot Refining calculator. It is designed to sift out stuff that you can sell on the market / to buy orders from stuff that needs to be refined into minerals.

It is online so you don't need to install frameworks. Check it out at www.eve-market-guide.com/lootrefine.php

Any feedback is welcome.

If you tired accessing the website over past two days, I'm sorry for the downtime. Everything should be back online from a backup now. Please report any errors.

Just wondering, would it be possible to get a downloadable version of this (or get it as a plugin on Eve-hq)?

Other than that, great tool, thanks :)

That's marvelous. I'm assuming it decides for me which I should do? Ingenious!

I didn't see anything describing the laziness factor. What does that do?

Laziness factor is bias towards refining. 110% means that if you make less than 10% more from selling the item then it will tell you to refine it.

This is superb - good work and all that! Esp the ability to vary how lazy I'm feeling...

If I was to make a couple of very minor suggestions to enhance for those who make laziness something of a mission in life - they might be to ensure consistency of the decimal point (so one can look at how long the numbers are without actually having to read the blessed things!) and, perhaps, to format them to the right of the cell for a similar reason.

Thanks again!

Great tool, not had a chance to cross check the results with reality yet but it looks good.

Any info on how the back end works? Where the mineral price data comes from for example, how up to date it is etc.

Everything can be air dropped at least once.

Very nice tool!

A small suggestion - an option to sort from high to low and vice versa

I would actually like this feature for OP's entire site (the Manufacturing and Invention calcs). I don't operate out of Jita and would like to be able to select my closest trade hub.

Shame you can't see inside containers.

You can, but the view is 'flat' - that means that you can't select _a_ contaier, to do this simply uncheck "ignore containers" option.

Today I made some changes to the website:

  • Crucible data dump should stop 'sql error 9' errors.
  • Sorting option now allows you to sort the items by: name, sub-total or price. This should make it easier to pick out nice items.
  • If the price is unknown, now the tool will categorize item as 'Trash or Contracts' so that you don't refine faction/deadspace mods by accident :).
