" After a recent influx of trade affairs that has seen the rise of Amarr home system to be one of the most important trading hubs in the universe, the system has also seen a large influx of capsuleers attempting to scam traders and overload the system communication channels with bogus offers and petty begging.

That, however, did not go un-noticed by the empire officials and they have called to the crown for intervention to protect what they see as an opportunity for Amarr to take it's rightful place as a crown jewel of the universal trade.

Empress Jamyl I has responded by launching an inquisition against all capsuleers who participate in the "plague" that threatens the glory and pride of the Amarr empire. she is quoted to say " The Amarr empire will not tolerate such insolence, the worms that infest other empires will not be allowed to disgracing our magnificent empire".

Consequently she launched an inquisition declared that all capsuleers who indulge in such petty affairs are committing an offence against the empire, she instructed that they shall be banned from all local channels within the Empire's borders, be denied docking rights and have their standings towards the empire set to -10. "

I HAD A DREAM! that one day I will enter a trading hub in New Eden and local channel will be clean except for genuine trade offers! I

I HAD A DREAM! that one day in one system I will be able to make a direct trade with someone without hunting for scams, or worrying that the lag is showing out of date items and numbers!

I HAD A DREAM! that the above imaginary news article came true!

Every country in the world has different rules for trade and business, why not let the empires do the same in EVE? it absolutely fits the Amarr empire lore and style, and serves an excellent purpose for capsuleer traders!

Scammers and beggars can still do what they like in Jita and the other empires, but perhaps the Amarr empire will not tolerate that?

I am sure CCP can make decisions and rules if they wanted to. if you people support this then show it!

Ignore is your friend. Then you never have to worry about that annoying person again.

Just have to wonder though... what happens if you end up ignoring everyone in the game... then what do you do? Pretty boring not having anyone to talk to.

I was born in Amarr. Perhaps it is time for me to return to my birthplace to show the locals how honest business is conducted in Jita.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

you're missing the point!

the objective is not to ban scammers from eve, they belong in it, but only in the amarr empire they will be muted! this way CCP doesn't have to go against what they consider legitimate play that doesn't break the rules, they can do it in a limited way, in a limited space that fits the game world perfectly!

If only CCP had provided us with some kind of way to block people in local. Maybe that feature would be accessed by right clicking on the person in local and adding them to something that I would spontaneusly call a 'Block List'. Then we wouldnt see what that 'Block listed' individual was spamming.

Sigh, unfortunately there isnt such a feature.

If only they had it.

If only.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

There's a forum area for role-playing, and also one for game features and ideas. Pick one. GD is neither.

Were you actually able to realise and inforce such a dream, and actually turn Amarr into a scam/beg/spam free zone, then i'd definately be tempted to trade there on that ground alone.

Unfortunately, i don't think you'll be able to do jack! Sad

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

It's much better to stay docked and talk about your effects on the myriad of men on the internet, right Boom Boom?

Yes, and when walking in stations becomes a reality I plan to open a neckbeard trimming salon in the main boulevard plaza of Emperor Family Academy to cater for the grooming requirements of these men you refer to Mussaab Big smile

Wait a tick..

The general answer to everyone complaining about the jitascammers in the Jita population thread was "GO TO AMARR!!"

Now we find people are shocked that scammers have appeared in Amarr? ShockedShockedShockedShockedShocked

Who'da thunk it. Roll

And good luck getting anything done about them, because even though CCP can somehow identify those who sit and cam 24/7 (and adjust the population of Jita accordingly,) the one thing they appear not to be able to do is ban them.

They can easily make a mechanic that allows people to report scammers just like they did with isk advertising bots.

But why do people keep thinking my idea is about BANNING] scammers? it's NOT ABOUT BANNING them! it's about making them an enemy of the Amarr empire,ONLY MUTING them , and ONLY in AMARR SPACE
