in the end its just hilarious.

Not to say Mormons or Scientologists are difficult to get a long with or anything, I find them sweet and endearing, unlike like those crazy christians who ignore the precise parts of their own holy book that contain the actual teachings of Christ, or the equally wild and woolly salafist muslims who are just itching to throw their lives away.

But you do have to give it up for people who will seriously do their utmost to believe in Xenu or magic glasses in order to not think about death.

I think the founders of EVE got the Amarr just right as the future of religion. Still crazy after all these years. Still violent. Still thinking they are right and everyone else is wrong.

The thing is without death, there would be no religion, and thus no Amarr.

It really took two pages for the "I hate religion" post to come up?

Well, whatever you say about Goons, they are by far the most artistic alliance in the game. Some of their recruiting posters, etc. are really first-rate, IMO. And the Mittani is one of the best bloggers/writers, in terms of creativity and entertainment value. The Goon mentality isn't really my thing personally, but got to give credit when credit is due....

If it doesn't involve blood, it isn't religion.

I tried believing in my own crap, but then a stray dog came by and ate it.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Did holy water and garlic stop the French Revolution and Napoleon? Bolshevism and Stalin? Nonsense-ism and Kim Jong Il?Rock and rollism and Elvis?

See, this is where TEST is doomed to fail. They had the hubris to try to make themselves in the Goons' image. But they have no Charismatic Leader. And some not very titillating blog posts. And art-wise, just one pretty-good dinosaur pic. They need a lot more work in the organizational branding and cult group-think development department.

Some of the posters for newbies are pretty nice.

Can someone leak the posters that have doctrine fits on them?

I came in to see what a Scientology vibrator looked like and I am leaving disappointed.

AttentionAttention Now the guy playing Kenny Loggins on Mister Vee fleets makes sense. Could it be...

Although, now I have a mental image of DBRB dressed up like Travolta from Saturday Night Fever. This is going to be hard to scrub out...

Scientologists and Blizzard both do that....

I'd say Eve has a pretty fascist view of humanity but I'm concerned I might get banned. I don't really know how much organization it takes to hold down zero-sec as I'm relatively new to the game, but my assumtion is that if you can manage and hold onto more than a few star systems, that takes more than a dumb person. Ever played WoW? Ever seen 40 WoW players trying to follow the leader? It's like herding cats.

Sorry, I browse while I mine, I don't usually pay attention to dates when I'm looking through stuff. I couldn't even tell you how I arrived at this thread.

I wonder necropost anymore, obviously. Can't you tell?

Seriously though, it takes 20 min for this retriever to fill up....
