I don't mind that he is using a bad semi-afk fit, and I don't mind that he tries to defend it either. I do mind however, that this videos are painfull to watch, useless and an absolute waste of time.

There is nothing helpfull viewers get out of it - unless you count "how to do it wrong" as helpfull.

OP, seriously, I see where the "trolls" you spoke about came from. From what I see, your'e spamming bad videos over and over and you can't blame people for saying that they are bad.

If you want to make usefull videos, do it right and take some of the advice you are given here. For the sake of providing good movies instead of crappy ones.

The interesting thing is, I gather some useful data out of this experience. I need to show the right overview. I also need to announce the triggers/ stuff to avoid. Also, possibly put some lighter music in my videos.

So, now my videos will evolve to something people can use more because I'm listen to you guys. Maybe even like more.

(I received no feedback from the survival site and YouTube. So my videos would've been the exact same until I did a video for every mission. I hope you see why it was important for me to post this here)

Anyways, the problem with trolls is they say it's bad without saying why exactly. The other problem is some of the trolls say stupid things like your fit is wrong, or I can do it faster. That's not really the point of mission guides. The point of mission guides is to show the player what to expect. That away they can say if they can do it.

Next time try to consolidate all your videos into one thread or a simple link to your channel with an example video instead of opening about 10 topics, one for each mission.

You would also learn more by posting one video, taking criticism and ideas from it and then making a better video and then getting more opinions instead of splurging all these terrible "guides" on us at once.

Okey, then let me give you some thoughts.

What I like:

- you do make videos to help other players.
- you do missions your way (dual-rep domi is slow, but comfortable)

What I don't like:

- Just seeing the video doesn't help - most players won't use a fit like yours (because it can be done more efficient), and they won't see the difficulties there. An overtanked Domi won't have problems in missions, as it's one of the toughest bricks arround, and it's unlikely that you will face difficult situations (example: Oh, I've triggered another wave too early in the blockade...nvm, they won't brake my tank anyway!).

What I would suggest is: Try to explain what you are doing, and why - comment the whole stuff, like what to expect in next pocket or speak about the difficulties one might face if he's not flying an overtanked fortress.

Imagine an angel extra where you explain how to identify triggers and advise younger players on not to enter bonus pocket on their own - stuff like that would be helpful.

- it is hard to understand what you are saying at all.

Suggestion: Turn up the volume for your mic + if you have problems with speaking spontanously, use pre-written text. If you want to help players, it should be easy to listen to ya.

Finally - don't give too much about trolls. Yeah, they might have a point on beeing faster or that your fit sucks, BUT: You can't make perfect fits for everyone, and it's up to you how you play.

Example: I'm using an OffGridBooster (OGB) to be able to have a shield-booster running permanently, while still having enough tank without having a fit worth multiple billions. If I would make a similar video, I would get flamed because thats inefficient, waste of time, "you would make more money if you would use the OGB to do another mission in the same time" etc. etc.

Point is - everyone should find his way, if it's max isk/hour - fine. If it's easy missions without too much attention, that's fine aswell. Listen to the advices you are given, and decide on your own if you want to use them.

There will allways be someone which tries to argue about it. However, this is not a problem. Don't forget that you want to help other players, and it's totally okey to use a safety fit (it's no contest!). It is fine if you want to have a safety net while doing videos, but you really need to explain the difficulties if you do it in other fits (with less tank and more gank).

Imagine a player who tries the same mission in a less tanky fit, and get's blown up because it looked so easy on your video.. do you really want such a situation?

Hope this helps.

Edit: If you have your videos improved a little - ask for further oppinions. Most guyz arround here are helpful (just ignore the trolls). Once you are confident enough that you're videos are good - make one thread for all of them - Please! ;)

And I have one more example for you: Check this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMFahR4wXTg
This is one of the most amazing videos I've ever seen for Eve. While it has nothing to do with missions, it might proof worthwhile if you want to make good videos.

Thanks for the advice, and I will use what I can on my next video.

Anyways, as far as the mic thing. I tried the pre-written text before, but I had problems with that. Like the unexpected always happens since it's being recorded in an uncontrolled environment. But as far as you not being able to understand what I'm saying. Is it because my voice is too deep or high? (I done almost all I can with making the videos louder. I can't afford a better mic/headset) They type of headset I am using is in the following link.

BTW, I am working on getting a gun boat. I am trying out a bunch of fits for a mega on the side.
