Radial Menu Disorientation

I request that there be an option in the ESC menu to remove the cursor stickiness of the radial menu. The intent is to make the radial menu more intuitive to experienced gamers such as myself. The point im referring about specifically is when you click+drag, and then release to select, your cursor instantly is moved back to the original click.

The mere act of instantly changing the cursors position without direct input from the user is rarely seen in games. FPS, RTS even any MMOs that ive played never had a mechanic like this. Its really disorienting, even after using it for a week. I can understand it may have advantages but it breaks up the flow of my gameplay. An option to turn it off would be much preferable.

Also the target icons are difficult to drag now, because the radial menu pops up too fast. I believe the best solution to this is to have a small visible field in the corner of target images. When clicking within the field the radial menu does not open, allowing you to drag the target image and reorder your targets properly.

Much thanks,
Hershman

I will amend my original post to say that the reordering of targets is not as difficult as I first believed it to be. Once you get it down you can technically click+drag the target images quite consecutively. However the minor adjustment I already suggested would make this action much more intuitive.
