Weird Nook Controls?

This is kind of an awkward topic, and I wasn't sure where to put it. I installed a remote desktop app on my Nook, which takes over my computer when activated. Everything works fine, but EVE is a little weird. When you tap once, the mouse "sticks" to a location, and if you tap another location, it clicks both at once. I noticed it when I was trying to activate modules. I'd tap once, it would hover over the mod. I'd tap again, it'd activate the mod. Then I'd click something else, and it'd deactivate the mod. My current workaround is just to tap what I need, then tap empty space. Click rock, click space, click target, click space, click mod, click space. Rather annoying.
Everything else on my desktop works like a tablet should, one-tap clicking, and no leftover clicks.
Could this be an EVE issue? Or a tablet/app issue?
