Cargo scanners effected by server lag\glitching?

Had a container in a data site show as empty on cargo scan. I untargeted and retargeted. Scanned again and still showed empty. So went to the other containers. Came back to hack the first container, so site will despawn. Happened to scan it again and it showed loot.

Anyone else have this happen?
